So Wenger out still?

Interesting stat from Guardian coverage: Arsenal have finished in the top four in each of the last 15 seasons; before that their best run was five years in a row.

Well done boys, got the job done, some sterling individual performances, Shezza Gervy Jenkinson Sagna Frimpong, TW took his goal well, he's clearly a striker. NOT A WINGER

Wenger should be sacked regardless. The fact that we struggled to beat these lot is proof enough that we're in decline and he's the main reason for that.
Decline witnessed by 15 years in the top 4. If you want to see what real decline looks like go ahead and sack Wenger.

The reality is that there are probably only half a dozen coaches in the world who could challenge the likes of City and Chelsea and Utd, given our resources and the power they have at the moment.
Its the Arsenal board that have thus far prevented Arsenal from joining the ultra Eruopean elite of Utd, Inter, Barca and Madrid - not Wenger.

Whilst it's far from being all rosey & "problem solved" at Arsenal, it is nice just to enjoy a positive result whilst all the media hacks were circling waiting for Arsenal to cock up again.

Fuck them all, I hope they have a late night re-doing their pre-written "Arsenal Bottlers" match reports.

How the f*ck has Jenkinson stepped up from the Conference/Division One and look so comfortable in the Champions League....??????

What a save from Chesney......and great to see Walcott scoring a Walcott type goal for the first time in an age!

I even thought that Gervinho looked good. And I think I might even have seen him kick the goal with his left foot....!

This.

Carl started off the move for Theo's goal with a cross field pass. I wondered what the hell he was doing but opened up the break down the left. Luck or perfect judgement. Who knows?

Ches has had a great start to the season and that save made a massive difference.

Mancs will be a different proposition.

Was just about to say the same myself :barscarf: !

Thought he redeemed himself tonight after some of his recent comments. He was spot on with his post match summary of what needs to happen. Does he post on here I wonder......

Schezney done us proud tonight. I was dancing around like a loon when he saved that penalty!!!! Also pleased with Frimpong - I think he could be huge for us in the future.

Overall - job well done.

Thank fcuk that we won't have to listen to 70,000 manc tossers singing "Thursday night - Chanel Five". I was having nightmares about that for the last week!!!!

Now lets sign a couple of decent players before Sunday.
