Ah, a banner! Where on earth did you get that idea from? By the way, just out of interest what would fans of a club like Fluminense or Flamengo do in our position?
sorry it took me a bit to answer this mate

logged off last night and now the thread has almost 20 pages

.
well, last time i watched a protest against the club's board here in brazil was when my local club sacked Luiz Felipe Scolari (the one that managed Chelsea few seasons ago, one of the best brazilian managers of the last few decades even if he was shite at chelsea). yeah, it's a bit different to banners that never get shown
but it's not something Arsenal fans should be looking to replicate either. buses were destroyed, and when the fans found out which cars belonged to the directors, they passed through security (it was no less than a thousand fans) and simply destroyed their cars, and everything on the way, including their own stadium (which has been the target of protests everytime something is wrong). it does not make sense because the club has to pay for those damages out of their pockets, so the money they could use on improving the team and making things better has to be used to buy new windows and rebuild parts of the stadium. a bit stupid if you ask me. not to mention cases where players who are considered to be "underperfoming" receive death threats, and sometimes get physically harmed.
i'm not sure there's anything from brazilian society you guys can learn from, and this is no different. have to admit it forces more of a change than a banner that never goes out, but still, it's not worth it
