Coquelin is a DM who is versatile enough to fill in at both left and right back. Reminds me of Flamini but with more skill/composure! He'll bench that gimp Song soon.richpye wrote:Coquelin a right back though or sat in front of the back four?1989 wrote:Rosicky was quality today! Sorry Rosicky haters but it's true. Also Kos is immense. Coq and Ox are the future! Fantastic prospects. Great to see Bac too, the man is a legend.

True, but I think our problems are defending as a team. Individually kos makes the least mistakes IMO and looks to be growing as a player all the timeMetalheadz Gooner wrote:Got beaten for the 1st goal too easily though.BournemouthRED wrote:Yeah kos is a beast! I want to hear from the guys that went today as to whether Wenger really was getting stick at half time or not.
ESPN were trying to labour the point at the interval but hard to gauge on the TV whether there really was an anti-Wenger sentiment, or whether it was just booing the team for a shit performance
The "IN ARSENE, WE TRUST" banned definitely disappeared at half time though!

I honestly don't think it would have made any difference. If we'd lost do you really think that would have been the final nail mate? Gazidis would suddenly grow the balls to fire Wenger? I just can't see it. The king of spin would still have persuaded them that our focus was the Champions League, and he would have dismissed the FA Cupdonaldo wrote:McLeish hates Arsenal fans last season he ended our season today he had the chance to put the final nail in Wengers coffin and he blew it.Thanks for nothing Alex you c**t
it's the only possible explanation1989 wrote:I heard Henry did the team talk at half time.

i have to say.. maybe it's time for mr rice to step down and mr henry to become number 2? he'll imediately have the players' respect, he certainly has the passion, and he can thoroughly involve himself in the training because he's still got the ability to show what he means, as well as explaining it

The frailties are still there for everyone to see.
It is frustrating to see them turn it on for 20 mins and take the lead. then look vulnerable again.
How can AW say we were unlucky to be two down at half time?
But the fans would have turned more against him.4 defeats in a row no chance of a trophy no top 4 just see how empty the stadium would be.It was half empty today.Thats the only way Wenger will be ousted.A fans revoltSteveO 35 wrote:I honestly don't think it would have made any difference. what wengers saying is.....in the 1st half we played the sideways tiptap game that i make my boys play but villa would not stand still in admiration like cones and dared to counterattack and score, in the 2nd half we had to play the energetic, direct hardworking game that i am against...we won, but i love ze sideways bestGlitch33 wrote:This^^Dan_85 wrote:Pleased we won, can't help but feel Wenger's got off the hook & bought himself a little more time though...u

Seriously ??

Henry we all know that you are a legend here but right now, in my opinion at least, you are an unwelcome distraction. We had fought back from 2 nil down to lead 3-2 but still didnt look comfortable and our fans start chanting for him to be brought on ? Is sentiment more important than the result now ? When he came on he lost possession every single time ffs so thierry if you really love the club like you claim to do then please step away and let these guys go about failing together cos believe me even in your pomp you would struggle to drag this bunch to the required level

Oh fuck off! I want Wenger out as much as the next man but wanting us out of the cup to justify your post is plain bollocks. Anyone who cant enjoy winning from 2 down needs to find something else to do with themselves.donaldo wrote:McLeish hates Arsenal fans last season he ended our season today he had the chance to put the final nail in Wengers coffin and he blew it.Thanks for nothing Alex you c**t
