They really are in the shit now looking at the table again today. Six points off safety which doesn't sound much but only 13 games left and down at the bottom where wins are at a premium I think its a tall order regardless of these signings.

Reading and Southampton look like teams fighting for their lives to me and their recent results have shown it. No superstars and players not on 80k per week. Newcastle now easily have enough quality to pull clear and Wigan are renowned for getting the points they need at this stage of the season and have been doing it for 5 years or more.

I watched QPR yesterday and they looked a crock of shite to me with the notable exception of Cesar in goal (Wenger can you hear me?) and Samba. Tarrabt is just a showpony who plays when he wants and the midfield looks short on quality

No doubt many factions of the media will jump to his defence and blame the previous regime but fact is they have far better players than the other sides fighting relegation and he spent a very substantial amount in the transfer window in transfers and wages.
