Sunderland Calling

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Pretty sure we had 11+ somewhere at the start of this thread. Not sure if any have pulled out as the days have gone by!

If eveyone can confirm on the thread by Sunday (most people will be through any games they have at the weekend or any drink related injuries should have been gained by then).

I am still in (I apologies in advance)
I'm ok (at the moment... and until I start playing of course) see you over there!!
For the full 60 or first 5?

Hmmm... You'll think I'll last the first 5.... we'll see... the last 3 times I've played on that kind of Astro Turf I haven't finished a game... and that's a stat that even DB10 would be proud of!.. :?

It's a no for me I'm afraid. Not sure I was ever in the squad anyway, but just to clarify.
Looking forward to seeing the highlights though :-) Good luck to all those participating.

This mother fucker is still in.

Warmed up today running rings round the under 11's at football training.

If the Sunderland lads want to bring their sons down, I can assure victory.

Other than that, I'm fitter than I have been for any of the previous matches, should be able to get around the pitch more freely. So that's me doing a hammy in the first 5 minutes then.

Rights gents,
It's countdown time. We need people to confirm whether they are in or not.
I have trawled though the posts and in amoungst all the pisstaking I have tried to update the list of players:
1. Number 5
2. SammyDroppedHisShorts
3. Hashkads
4. skizz_b
5. danno
6. M-50
7. Goose
8. LeftfootlegendGooner
9. franksav63
10. 8. LeftfootlegendGooner's Nephew
11. CarltonBanks26
12. Clockendal (GK)
13. Clockendal's Cousin aka lofty lynch

Possibles:
Arseofacrow
Db10gooner
Redsenga1 - offered 10 mins of a runout on another thread
Mcdowell42
Toplondoner (probably just for drinks?)

Not sure who will be there watching as we still don't have a manager but someone on the sidelines could handle the substitutions etc.

Referee:
I haven't had confirmation back yet from 2smooth from SWL. Does anyone else have 2smooths contact details.
If not I can try and get someone else (my brother is a ref so will check with him).

The kick off is 10am

It's on market road. I haven't been there yet but the postcode is N7 9PL and it is near Caledonian road
http://www.aquaterra.org/market-road-fo ... to-find-us

And don't forget a fiver per head subs.

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make this one now fellas, popped my knee (again) yesterday which means 4 weeks on the sidelines :(

It's only the 5th time it's happened so probably better it happened now rather than 10 minutes into the game, earning me notoriety along with every other fecker on here who's got injured!

I see the list above has my nephew on it, I did mention he was subject to getting his passport as he is off to canada tomorrow, well his passport arrived Friday so he is out.

My cricket team are really short for this Saturday's game and we can win the league and as I am a number 3 bat will have to play that, but as I put my name down I will still play and just drive straight back after the game, I am about 1h 45 to 2 hour drive away so will be back in time to play cricket.

Am fit for this so looking forward to it, my son can come along if needed as a sub.
