Apparently Song and Bould had a massive rift in Cologne.

@AFCAMDEN says Bould "nearly took his head off".

Good riddance.

Well in Bouldy!

Get rid of anyone that thinks he's bigger than the club. I was thinking, is Lansbury still at West Ham? We might give our "local" boys a go instead of shifting them every other month to some 2-bob club.
Granted they might not be the best of players but they have a connection with the Arsenal and them (Frimpong, Lansbury... + Gibbs and Wilshere when he comes back) playing together could create a good spirit!

All summer no one has quoted him as being for sale for more than that fee. His wages are about 70k
is that true??! WTF is NdJ on that at Shitty? Greedybarndoor on 3 x as much? Unbelievable.
Where did you get that figure from? If it is the case I'd jump at the chance (although Shitty might not want to strengthen 'rivals')
He always has been. He was bought in the early days of the moneybags years. Company was on something that small(I should really wash my mouth out after that comment  :banghead:  ) before they finally gave him a new contract in the summer . Have to admit I don't begrudge him Yaya,Hart or Aguero being on eye watering wages. That is a spine Whisky nose would give granny shagger away for.

On the strengthening rivals stuff, mancini needn't lose too much sleep. Our rivals are the filth, barcodes, and blue scousers.

On yesterday's evidence not sure the mousers will be a rival. Teams are going to have fun with Rodgers pressing and high line defending when Carragher's in defence. You only need to watch Mertesacker to know a slow lumbering ox and high lines is footballing suicide

It's a strange one this. Song was decent- nothing more- but I can't for the life of me see what the Catalan mens' diving and gymnastics club have spotted in him. If the fee is close to £20m then that is just good business and if that is how we are to judge the club at the moment it has to be a successful transfer. I gave up a long time ago on hoping that the footballing side of things would take priority and if he was as disruptive as reports claim he was then cheerio. If money is the be all and end all then we have done well to shift him so quickly for a decent fee.

Who comes in, if anyone, needs to settle in quickly and play regularly.

Steady on, could you imagine a team full of jenkinsons?

I think they're looking for a DM and CB combo. You know they don't believe in pure CBs anymore like they don't believe in strikers, poor David Villa, they probably think he is a ghost or somethink.

Either that or Tito was looking the other way when Song bundled over Xavi and Messi over and over again with no yellow card.

If we don't spend the Song money, i'd say this confirms we are merely a training academy for kids who pass good, sometimes.

I think he'll play lots once hes fully recovered from injury

And if Wenger said it, it must be true!
Sahin on loan at best, Wengers too interested in pocketing the cash so won't spend any more! Profits are looking good!

If the stuff about Bouldy having a go at him is true then good, anyone who can't get their heads down and put in 110% each game and in training needs to be shipped out, half the issue with our team is the attitude sometimes.

It has just been said on French tv that Alex Song allegedly went on strike!
He basically refused to train and said he'd go into rebellion mode if he wasn't sold. Wow way to go Arsene.
Pay these muppets galactico wages, play them endlessly and make the club fans suffer their mistakes...until a big club puts an offer in for them! This club is being used as a rescue shelter for c****.
The reason Bould almost knocked him out is for allegedly claiming that "no big player wants to waste their time here"
Fancy that. Song Billabong-Tool calling himself a "big player"!!!
Now now, I wonder who on earth let him have an ego get that big?
After all, who paid this twat £60k a week though he'd never won a thing? Who picked him every single week as first name on the team-sheet regardless? Who refused to discipline him by dropping him and buying competition for his place? Which ridiculous group of fans votes him in 2nd place as Player of the Year!!!
Could this be the very same ones now saying he's rubbish!

Never mind. Cazorla, Wilshere and Oxlade will all be declared as overrated gash also once they've all been packed off for Citeh/Chelski/Manure/Barca.

At least Abou and "I'm due a testimonial this season" Djourou are Loyal

Selling your captain to Manure few days before the season starts. Selling Song soon after the season kicks off. Then flogging Walcott too (coming). It's the timing of it all, abysmal preparation.
Oh but "Arsene has learnt his lessons"!!!

Difficult to blame Wenger on this one. Song is a *word censored* end of. Let's hope we can weed out the *word censored* and have the players playing for the shirt again. I fancy Bould to knock some heads together which can't be a bad thing.

Regardless of what he is paid or what you think of the situation as to why he has been paid that if he did throw a hissy fit then the club have done well for once to nip it in the bud and get rid.

17m for that piece of turd is 'amazing business'

Agree with the mascot,

Song was NEVER Arsenal quality and i'm astonished that Barca have bought him for anything more than £5M.

He should never have racked up the appearances that he did but I'm just happy the twat's gone.

We can all now relax about the Cesc fee being so low because the fee for Alex Mong is far too high.
