Arsenal v Sunderland match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Cazorla is one of those players that I can't believe actually plays for us  Got that feeling with DB and with AA for the first few months. Afer years of plodders like Denilson, Diaby, Ramsey, Song running our midfield he seems too good to be true lol

even though its now clear hes 100% on the wind up

never understood why people care about this. Over a post match pint ask whoever sits with you next weekend who Sunderland captain was, bet most of them don't know. I've played loads of low level park football without any memory of who our captain was, let alone the oppositions. Its not cricket FFS.
Red Member wrote:I will settle for a 1-1 draw. I suppose a win is possible but only because Sunderland look to have one of the poorest teams in the PL this season.
no team in the Prem would 'settle' for a home draw with Sunderland (or any nonCL chasing side). It's a totally ridiculous statement that nobody can possibly believe is true...
OK I can't respond as if he's an actual poster - red seriously reign this shite in
there's no point in posting stuff that nobody could ever believe
do you believe it now JD?
Welcome to the new world at Arsenal.

you mean the player that is getting some PL experience before moving to Manchester City next summer?
if he is any good he will be the player we sell at a profit in the summer of 2013. One week before the transfer deadline of course :D

2 words to you Simon - wake up

Cazorla has barely kicked a ball for Arsenal and he already seems frustrated with the club's transfer policy! Read his interview, he thinks the team is short. Never you mind. Cazorla is being worshipped now but when he moves to Citeh or Manure next summer, the same ppl on here calling him amazing will be calling him overhyped and rubbish....

I stated his name purely in the context of Saturday's game as the only one who made a meaningful contribution to the match. How you can deduce from one word that I need to 'wake up' is beyond me.

can red member and babs get banned now? they aren't adding of note to the forum, I don't see why we should keep them here. they were quite amusing at first but now I'm quite worried about who they are. They seem to be spending a worrying amount of time on here all of a sudden. I'm sure I'm not the only person who noticed babs stopped posting at the same time as red member during the summer :rubchin:

I can assure you that Babatunde is a totally different poster to me.

My main crticism is with Kroenke
Babatunde's main criticism is with Wenger

I hope that clears things up for you.
