As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Imagine the publicity if it had of been raised outside/inside the Emirates or at any number of aways if its getting this coverage from being in someones back garden...........
The thing that keeps being mentioned is that showing the banner would invite a reaction from Arsene supporters and possibly even assault, verbals etc. Also the fact that the Arsenal stewards would confiscate it.
But what I think people are missing is that this would be even better as it all would have been on video and photos ready to hit the tinterweb post haste.
Imagine 5 or 6 banner-holders dressed as Santas getting abused by AKB's and the banner confiscated by the dayglos.

That's somewhat Scary, Alarming AND Depressing to think that Sun readers who take their cue from that low IQ rag - who in turn read this forum in order to know what's what!

Fukin media gold.
agreed.
The club will hardly revel in the publicity of some fan(s) being dragged out shouting for having the temerity to question the manager. The media have all of a sudden latched onto slating Wenger and now it's the flavour of the month they'll jump on any chance to do so, they'll love this.

There doesn't need to be any shouting or screaming. For me it would all be very dignified. No reaction or even responding to abuse from AKB's. If we get asked to leave we'd leave. Just making sure its all well documented and photographed. Could all take less than a few minutes. Doesn't need any more than that.
Its all about soundbites for the media.
And if we're dressed as Santas, well...............
Which is why the banner should be shown at Reading, the games on sky and the camera angle at Reading shows the away fans, maximum exposure. On the subject of dressing up as santas, why not get 9 people to wear santa outfits with red t-shirts or whatever each with a letter spelling WENGER OUT, or hold up cards like the photos earlier in the thread?
