As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The fans havent the luxury of tv replays so still believe we were screwed on the red card so that will spare the c**ts abuse today
So it's just me who thought the red was a bit harsh? Am I a rosetinter?
I also thought it harsh. Kos isn't my favourite player and he was daft to hold on but Dean couldn't fucking wait to send him off. By his own interpretation of the rules why wasn't vermaelen shown red for his horror tackle?
As I said, he's bent.

watch the replay at half time. dzeko ( i think it was him) turned kos a treat and should' ve been on the 6 yard line with the ball dropping for him and a pretty easy finish. it's only because kos pulled him to the ground that it bounced up to the height shez cleared it at when tevez went for it,
whichever way you look at it, kos denied a clear goal scoring opportunity by fouling him (and saying tevez had the chance doesn't wash either, tevez DIDN'T have a clear goalscoring opportunity because he couldn't actually get to the ball first to get it, had shez stayed on his line and tevez scored, it'd all be moot and kos would still be on the pitch)
I didn't even mention Tevez. Furry muff I could well be wrong, matters not a jot either way, didn't look quite as clear cut a chance to me as everyone else given the way the ball was dropping down is all.
dzeko is a cart horse, no fuckin way was he gonna get that before chez ffs, stand firm by our convictions, its me and you against the world brother
If we are going to lose - Let's at least go down FIGHTING - fuck the score just DO SOMETHING AND FIGHT FER FUCKKS SAKE!¬ Instead of insipid tippy tappy - and make excuses etc
But oh NO! not with Inspector Clueless - he'll still make subs on th usual 70 minutes - Pods off etc etc etc FUCKING
edit: ps: Dean is a TOTAL ****!

That was a nailed on penalty and red card, no doubt about it. Koscielny is a complete *word censored* for doing that and Vermaelen wasn't much better on the second goal. What a cracking defence we have
Yet again a shit ref will take the brunt of criticism but the point is, we have a fucking seriously shit squad, SERIOUSLY shit squad.

tevez was mentioned on twitter as the goalscoring chance not being denied, so thought i'd pre-empt it
just seen the replay and i'm even more sure now, it would've dropped right on dzeko's right boot.
not saying i don't think mike dean is a crooked *word censored*, because he is, but we should realise that, and realise he will take any and every opportunity to fuck us over, and shouldb't make it so easy for him!

You know a little while after the pen, he has a word with wilshere who obviously told him that he wasn't up to much as a ref (but with some street banter thrown in) and then a few seconds later we had a blatant foul which he didn't give wilshere again says something and he just turns round and smiles at him, what a *word censored* of a ref
Our club has turned into a laughing stock. Lets all watch the broke Arsenal FC struggle against the billionnaires with a mid life crisis and taunt them for not being able to win anything.

From The Back Five, Campbell & Toure and even mad Billy Gallas to the fucking chumps we have now, if it were any other team it would be funny.
I get that being down to 10 men isn't ideal, but I can't say I'm bowled over by our game plan here
Surely, when you're a man light, you tighten up and make sure you don't give any cheap goals away; whereas going all gung-ho and attacking as if you still have a full complement of players is a tad suicidal? - maybe it was the adrenaline taking over, but the way we played after that sending off has surely cost us any chance of competing in this game.
Where's the calm heads? the tactical discipline? - we had a 20 minute brain fart there. Game over.
