WIGAN HOME

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hope our fans clap Wigan off too - they are a half decent team and we were far from comfortable tonight - Good luck for next season Wigan. :barscarf:
Yeah and good luck to Martinez. He is a good manager and a guy who seems nice

Yep, agree if he was hell bent on our destruction he could have given a pen for a block before Shez saved form Kone.

He is a shit ref granted, he doesn't give us anything but we shouldn't need him to - we should be good enough to win games by ourselves.

Sad to see Wigan go down at least they play football unlike that *word censored* pulis and his inbreds

Ramsey has scored which means Inspector Clueless will feel justified in giving him that contract extension and his £55k a week. :banghead:

If Chavs draw against Everton and we beat the barcodes we will finish 3rd due to our superior goal difference.

I still think we have defended well this half and have only conceded to a ridiculous free kick (both the award and the execution).

We need to seize the initiative again in the 2nd half and we'll go on and win by a few.
No need to thank me I'm here all week :barscarf: :barscarf:

Finally he got a goal and feels like 3 points in the bag. It has been a while we last conceded from open play. Our defence is putting solid performance game after game.
I was shocked at the Kos-Mert 17 PL game unbeaten stat.

Good result, wish we'd pushed on for one more, to force Chelski to win
(oooh Citeh's goal is lovely)

Santi obviously our POY, FOUR assists today - had a hat-trick of goals already. Monster
Feo inconsistent but a big game player and he's got plenty of goals this season
Kos our best defender, can be the leagues best defender
Szcz had some minor errors but his save from Kone was a game changer
Sagna was a great RB but he's become inconsistent and is off
Gibbs did pretty well today but I'm still not 100% convinced
theBFG is a proper leader in defence, an excellent signing
Tets a little bit shaky today but has had a good season
Pod scored two and somehow still didn't convince
TR7 good energy - which was ket to our dominant first 25 - but faded. I gave up on him, now a key squad player
Rambo has managed to change my opinion, another good game. And a goal at last - surprised to hear criticism of him.

Just had that step up in quality when we desperately needed it. We get players in similar positions to where he put the ball in for the 2nd probably 10-20 times every game but never capitalise. The only way he could have picked out an Arsenal shirt was that exact ball at that exact speed. Class.

Both are doing great. One more game, we will be in CL and finish above giants.
