Merse just said what we all says on here. He's a dopey bastard but he loves us and hates them, couldn't imagine him prancing around his gaffe in a scum jersey.

Very good assessment Granada Joe - I agree with pretty much all of the above, except I think Sanogo gave his most affective performance today.

Originally he wasn't -and we paid the price for him being in the first team when he wasn't ready.

But he has developed into a top CB, but is still prone to diving in rashly on occasions.

Pathetic comment......couldn't be happier. Actually watched it with a Scummer which made it even better. I think it's your so called 'gooner' (really a Chav) who is in the bad mood because Arsenal won

Regarding Merson I couldn't believe his analysis at half time. We were hardly rampant but we had scored early doors and offered a threat on the counter-attack (albeit diminishing). Spurs offered fuck all threat first half so how he could say they were by far the better team and was really positive about them was beyond me.

I've read both of his books and I always got the sense that he didn't really care that much about the club and didn't reciprocate the fans' feelings towards him. I'm not saying that because of the drugs, boozing and gambling - he just never seemed to have the gratitude towards the club that others of a similar era had. He seemed to have the attitude that he'd made it through his own talent and endeavours so didn't owe anybody at the club or the fans anything. Basically a modern-day footballer. Saying that, although he never seemed to love Arsenal I always got the impression he hated the Scum.

Today was far from vintage, our performance arguably wasn't worthy of 3 points and it's done nothing to convince me that we can win the league this season or any time without major changes. Don't care though, WE BEAT THE SCUM ON THEIR OWN TURF and we've got a fantastic chance to win the FA Cup

Wowowowo fantastic to win 3 times in a season, when did we last have a 100% clean sheet win 3 times against the scum in a season

Got the feeling that they wouldnt score even if there was 60 minutes of added time so awesome was BFG and Kos.

Greedy was really pretty averagely sh*t today, couldnt have stomached it if the twat had scored today.

First season weve won ugly like this for some years, absolutely brilliant
