Chavski match thread.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'd love someone to ask Arsene as direct as possible, how do you prepare for football games? How do you explain 8-2, 6-3, 5-1, 4-0 against rivals who know you well?

Remember what Cesc said about the difference with Spain and Arsenal, Spain study the opposition, yes SPAIN.

How can you justify your salary Arsene, how?

A sound investment for them....paying an extra £1m a year compared to the £25m he earns them in CL revenues for the true joy of the top four....no brainer

Its too predictable now to be painful.

Seriously, although my old buddy Red said the 8-2 was "irrelevant" in jest, it marked the start of a new era where we could be ripped apart at will by the top teams

8-2, 6-3 at City, 5-1 at Anfield, 4-0 down at half time here. Its just more of the same. Part of me feels sorry for him that it's his 1000th game, but if the board sign us up to 3 more years of him then there will be many, many more days like this because the bloke belongs to a past era

To some degree yes - even though I thought that we could get a draw today, I still couldn't be surprised at what I am seeing  The thing about it all is that you cannot see anything changing - as many said at the time, the 8-2 at old shatford should have seen his immediate resignation but instead we have been forced to endure several maulings since and are now about to reward the cic with a new and improved contract    :cussing:

I have no doubt, and I have said this for years, that we are getting what we deserve - as a club we have done nothing to fix our shortcomings and don't seem arsed tbh, but as a fanbase we have had too many stupid c*nts continually defending the indefensible (wenker) and by refusing to lay the blame where it should be, they are effectively allowing this shit to continue on and on and on and on   Until the fans really turn on wenker publicly then nothing will change but we have too many gutless fans afraid to stand toe to toe with the akb at the games - even today the fans should be absolutely vocal against the manager and his players but instead they will be afraid to rock the boat on le cocks 1000th game in charge

Turned my phone off....piss taking texts too much to bear but all of them are justified. Booked my semi tickets, Hull (assuming we scrape by Wigan) in Final about our level. Fuck off Wenger

BFG and Kos who have conceded 5 at Anfield, 6 at the Etihad and another 4 and counting today

Like the rest of the squad they are better than nearly all of the players in clubs outside of the top 4. Put them on the big stage and they are flat track bullies

If we had Fellaini and Costa no doubt we'd be winning :D
