Nevill moves to a maiden half-century and England are leaking runs in the first few overs this morning.
Wake up fuckers.

Broad should’ve had his 300th wicket as Nevill gloves it to Buttler but the umpire gives it not out and England have no reviews left.
I wonder how important that could be.

The ‘wicket’ apart, England have bowled atrociously so far this morning.

That's the ashes for you. Love modern technology. I am out and about today and watching the test match on my mobile. Twenty years ago I either had to listen to the radio or look like a gypo outside radio rentals.

Finn strikes!
Nevill is out for 59 after feathering a faint edge to Buttler behind the stumps. England desperately needed that.
Hazlewood in next and Aus are 217 – 8.

Stokes and Root (who takes a great catch) combine to dismiss Hazlewood for 11; Aus are 258 - 9.
Australia’s lead goes past the 100 mark.

Ali cleans up the Australian innings with the dismissal of Starc, who is out for 58 caught by the sub fielder.
England will need 121, which should be doable (unless we do a Headingley

).

England make it lunch without the loss of any wickets and will need 117 to win when we resume.

This would be the perfect time for my favourite sporting cliché to come into play; "England batting collapse". Love that, I do.

Stick around mate - it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

Collapse you say?
Starc claims the wicket of Cook, clean bowling him for 7.
Not what England wanted; they're 11 - 1.
Bell gets off the mark with a boundary.

England move to 35 – 1 with Bell cutting loose magnificently.

Clarke drops Bell!
That could prove
very costly.
