Barcodes at home Saturday 2nd January
Re: Barcodes at home Saturday 2nd January
Reckom Southampton should give us a refund on Ox & Walcott.
Re: Barcodes at home Saturday 2nd January
We all knew it but today underlines how much of a cheap, egotistical basterd that excuse of a manager of ours is. How many fukin years has he blatantly refused to get us a quality keeper? Remember the Schwarzer fiasco? Wasnt it half a mill more he refused to go?
We've been cheated for years and years by this alone. How many points, games, trophys has this alone cost us? Omfg!
Fukin rotten bastard.

Perhaps if you did your research then you would’ve seen that Oxlade-Chamberlain has been criticised on here for his poor form pretty much all season.Robin_L wrote:Actually cannot believe Giroud is the scapegoat and barely a mention of how woeful Oxlade-Chamberlain was today. Walcott not great either, Ramsey similarly poor, although the latter is having a decent season overall.
Cech, Ozil, Giroud are the reason we're on 42 points and not down with the scum /United / Liverpool looking upwards at Leicester fucking City.
Giroud gets stick because for every excellent finish there's a shocking near post miss/free header ballooned over the bar.

Oxlade Chamberlain was terrble and wasn't the first time. Lucky not to have got 2 separate yellow cards and produced only one decent pass. He really needs to step it up and stop looking like the archetypal overpaid underachieving Arsenal player.
Otherwise, happy to have got away with that one but we're looking incredibly stretched at the moment.

Just watched the highlights on motd again and cech saved us from a turdholing
imagine yesterday with any of the shite keepers weve had in recent seasons,it would no doubt have been an easy away win.

Yeah Yeah...3 points, a win is a win...etc..
The truth is we were Lucky, had some terrible performances today, and we will get found out big time on another day
Metersecker Walcott and Chamberlain are liabilities,
Bellerin has been exposed as limited, think its all gone to his head, has to realise all the flash cars and houses are dependent on putting in good performances week in week out, over the years, but then again looks like he has no competition now Debuchy looks to be on his way, man management from Mr Wenger

It was his shot at Newcastle that led to collocini scoring an own goalcasgooner wrote:No prem goals or assists in 2015 for Ox. Not a good stat.

Fans going to support the team
Realising there are 45 mins to go and some games you just have to dig in and get the win
Some of us are old enough to remember peter storey scoring an only goal home to Blackpool
And charlie george doing the same v burnley in 70/71
Best home season I have ever seen but needed everyone from players to tea lady to get us over the line

So he is performing at the level those players were when they led their team to titles? Don't be so ridiculous.Robin_L wrote:By the benchmark of his goals to games ratio, which is comparable with at least 3 of the players on your list. Honestly, where do you get these people from![]()
It's like the stupid person's go-to line of choice. Things aren't going perfectly, blame the striker.
Giroud's probably been our 3rd best player this season after Ozil and Cech.
Is he good enough to be our lead striker in our system? No. Has he ever been? No. It's a fucking travesty that three and a half years down the line we are still plodding along with him up front.
He's not up to the mark and no amount of your posturing or WUMming will change that. If we had Aguero instead of him we'd coast this league.
Giroud got another assist today, simply put we wouldn't have scored without him. 15 for the season, good stuff Giroud.

And I don't think anybody suggested that we struggled so much today because of Giroud. He was no certainly no worse than Walcott, Chamberlain, Monreal, Bellerin, Koscielny, Flamini and probably Ramsey.northbank123 wrote:So he is performing at the level those players were when they led their team to titles? The issue is that unfortunately he is the focal point of our attack and it was yet another piss-poor performance from him. Especialy in a 4-5-1 system, the striker is the most important player in the side - look how many points van Persie single-handedly won us in 2011/12 or how Suarez nearly single-handedly propelled a shite Liverpool side to the title in 2013/14. If we could get the most benefit from replacing any one player it would definitely be him. We can cope with average players in other positions but not as lone striker.

Top quality work from Giroud on the goal yesterday. Of course on Koscielny for having the gumption to get in there.
Giroud's limited but thought yesterday looked out on his feet. Christmas spirit and all that!

I wouldn't say that - just about a normal performance again. Piss weak. Like playing with 10 men each game. Lucky Lucky Arsenal.Thierry 3-8-99 wrote:Walcott has been awful
