SUNDERLAND AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

My stream crashed after the final whistle. Were there any?

Mine cut away for ads. Wouldn't surprise me if the club have had a hissy fit and demanded that none be shown.

I want to know too. The fucking NBC stream I was on cut away to tables/stats pretty sharpish, by the time I got on a world feed stream I seen Defoe applauding the fans before that cut away to 'highlights'.

Last on Match of the Day, no doubt :suicide:

That was possibly the most abject performance of the many we have had this year.
No desire, no determination, a clueless, aimless showing, lacking any tactical formation.
Just what you would expect from a team coached by Wenger.
The worst bit for me was Giroud finding it somehow humorous that he finds it impossible to stay onside. it isn't funny, its shockingly inept.
Almost pipped by Walcott jumping over/missing the ball after Vito Mannone had missed his header,
Who will get the blame for this? I cant wait to hear the excuses.
So who has this convinced to return for the "quality football" Wenger is promising?
Come on Foxes!

Did he not meant that the people who had stayed away last Thursday missed quality football?

If no banners were shown on SKY we can only hope they are picked up on by websites, the papers etc, after a drab and insipid performance like this they would look right in place and perhaps get some more sympathy for the cause.

On balance I think if anyone deserved the win it was Sunderland, Ramsey and Giroud need to be bombed out, absolutely useless the pair of them.

Wenger saying it is difficult to play a Sunday Thursday Sunday match schedule, might have to get used to it next season!!

This is our first choice striker and he has now gone 14 games without scoring.
This in a season when we were supposedly going for the title.

That says it all

Wenger talked pre-match about the teams hunger. And we saw it today:

Metersacker bravely putting his body on the line by turning sideways on so to block a goal bound shot with his hands.

Koscielny's brilliantly dummy in the box ... cleverly ducking out the way and totally fox the Sunderland players attacking the corner.

Walcott's intense desire to win that he was even prepared to tackle fresh air when the opposition keeper was out of his area.

I think next year's gonna be our year :barscarf:
