Wolves wont make top 4 .......down to us and the other 2 shit london clubs...along with Utd

As stated before we have a real chance of making it...but the threadbare squad could take its toll

Martinelli will be missed...a couple of injuries and we wil be struggling...IMO a big gamble by arteta...

If we get 4th place, recruiting better players will be easier

Looks like we have a winnable bunch of games coming up
Can a Red Card from 2 Yellows be appealed against? All the pundit refs on social media are saying it was a Wrong call by Oliver (the CorruptCunt)

...
Yellows can't be appealled.

Anyway it's not the given yellows that were the issue (both were bookable offences let's be honest) but it was the manner they were issued, one directly after the other in the same passage of play that just doesn't seem right.

Exactly that's what the pundit refs were saying...

If he had stopped the play and booked Martinelli for the first incident - the opposition player made a meal of it btw... ceeeeuuunnnt. Then at least Martinelli would know he was on a Yellow and so avoid getting the second which is why? I reckon Oliver is a CORRUPT-CUNTSLOP!.

Thats Ramsdales's 11th clean sheet. Ederson has 13 then its Ramsdale and Allison with 11. Kepa & Mendy have 10 between them. Were right up there with the top 3 when it comes to keeping a clean sheet. Need to also remember Ramsey has played less games than the others so his clean sheet ratio might just be the highest. I dare say it, with this new look back 4 and Ramsdale in goal, we are showing a defensive resilience and quality side not seen in a very long time.

But for christ sake the problem with Lacazette gets bigger. You cannot have the focal point miss so many half and clear cut chances. Gabriel has as many goals this season. I really think Arteta needs to get ESR back into the team given he is our top scorer. He will get to play next game as Martinelli is out. Although long term, whether Martinelli plays down the middle and Saka goes to his natural left and ESR plays on the right, or take a massive gamble and play ESR was a false 9. Although I personally think the gamble is playing Lacazette week to week.
Could well be Nkeitah starts when Martinelli is out....not a given that ESR is back...thats artetas call
Or he might start Pepe. Which I’d actually prefer over Nketiah.

My final post on the matter is Arteta's most pertinent point. "It's a red card you have to want to give."

I'll say no more.
Yes agreed....he was hot headed and IMO a yellow would be appropriate...but charging in on the second challenge again was pushing it....

Any half decent ref would have given him at most a yellow and a talking to. Oliver was thrilled showing both cards. He actually looked excited. That's a poor ref that has lost his head in the excitement of the moment because he's a power hungry attention whore.

We are talking about a ref here that had a design shaved into his head before a PL match. Nearly as wanky as the prick that had the trophies tattooed on his arm, was it Clattenburg?

Smith-Rowe has a very obvious ongoing fitness issue. He came on as a sub last night after a winter break and he was blowing within ten minutes. He might be carrying a knock or a soft tissue problem but either way we can barely get a full half out of him at the moment. Until that is sorted he's not a starter.

If that is the issue then Martinez-Lite has called it right benching him.
Yeah I noticed it last night - he'd been on a matter of minutes and had that one run near the end where he was able to see out about 30 seconds of time before conceding the goal kick. He looked absolutely fucked afterwards!

During the last 20 minutes I genuinely thought both Gabriel and Xhaka were going to receive second yellow cards. Such is the lack of trust in their abilities to keep it sensible when under pressure. Gabriel deserved his motm reward. He was treading a very thin line with the time wasting and shoving/ pulling. I do fear he's gonna see red at least one more time this season for petty offences that are completely avoidable.

Same here. I was on tenterhooks for that last 20 mins. Honestly thought we'd concede a stupid penno. Delighted with the win and the clean sheet. Ramsdale made a couple of great stops too.

id prefer DB10's dead great granny who someone was in the process of digging up i thought (leftie?), than the feather, she would make more of an impact and hold the ball up better.

the feather is the worst young striker i have seen at our club..jeffers, rankin, mark flatts, itonga, jet, riza, jay simpson, dailivcious (?), barratt, stokes, lupolli, sanchez watt, thomas, cablellero (?), papadoud (some greek czech bloke), i dont care abt his u21 record hes facking shit and makes no effort to make up for his shitness.
