We sell our shirt sponsorship too low, kit deal too cheap, stadium naming rights for next to nothing and our club captain for peanuts.

The only thing we seem to want to charge top dollar for is our tickets to the matches to fleece our own fans to make up for our inadequacies in every other aspect of our marketing. :banghead:

Take it easy - I heard we were getting kiosks.

Suggestions of £25.5M plus £5M in add-ons, and we are going to be let off a £4M loyalty payment to Cesc.

I think any 'add-ons" for a player of Cesc's quality are a bargain for Barcelona, considering C Ronaldo went for £80M.

I agree mate but what do you do? I'm as sick as the next geezer about this. Do you just force him to turn out every week? In reality that just wouldn't work.

I can't compare European prices to the prices in the English market anymore. No-one outside of England would look twice at Carroll, Henderson, Milner and all that other shite - certainly not for more than 10M. Look how many England players play abroad!

Some have said it before- this whole mess is down to Cesc. It's him that is the reason why he would be going for less than his 'Market value'. He has made it too obvious his love for Barca and why should Barca pay 'Market value' when the player is not on the Market as such (he only wants to go to Barca)? And besides- Cesc is an ex-Barca player and of course they would not want to pay 'Market value'.

Get rid of the little fucker for whatever, an get in a replacement that wants to plAy for our club.

PS - watch our dirty lying fucker of a manager spend less than what he gets in. He preaches about being self-sustaining - always making a profit out of our transfer dealings has nothing to do with self-sustaining, its slowly killing our football team, especially when we have such glaringly obvious deficiencies in the team. Self sustaining? We will actually lose financially as we get less people watching a team in decline, and get less than the paltry commercial revenue we already get - what company wants to spend big money on arsenal when the GIC openly admits 4th is success?

"France Football says Sami Nasri to Manchester City will be done in a matter of hours"

Well done AW, hold on to them until a few days before season starts, Arsene's knows.

In much the same way you can allow Lassana Diarra, Matthieu Flamini and Gilberto to leave the club within six months for the combined total of £6.5m, all of which is reinvested in two unproven players in Ramsey and Coquelin.

Players come and go; players want to join other clubs. I can accept that. What I can't accept is that our board of directors and senior management team always seem to be the loser on both sides of deals.

Want Oxlade-Chamberlain - pay us £12m (at least) up front or no deal.

Barca want Cesc - we'll tell you the price is £40m, go public on the issue and then accept significantly less.

Are you telling me that if Arsenal used Barca style tactics to pursue the Ox we wouldn't have got him for less than we did - of course we would. The player would learn that his club was turning down offers of say £8m and the chance for him to treble his wages and a combination of player & agent would eventually put so much pressure on the club they would sell.

Basically exactly what Barca are doing to us, what Chelsea are doing to Modric etc etc.

And please everybody spare me the crap about "the Arsenal way of doing things". That died many, many years ago

And does that now also mean that "we can not call ourselves a big club if you lose Nasri and Fabregas".

Regardless of what has happened this summer and who they turn out to be, There will be 11 guys out there in Red and White, wearing the same shirt as you have undoubtedly bought, playing for US. Support them with everything you have and end all this Armageddon talk once and for all. CMON THE GUNNERS
Still waiting for your transfer window predictions........can't be that hard to cut and paste a prediction. Or do you simply prefer to sideswipe at others rather than make a prediction yourself ?
No need to predict anything.
Just have to wait and see. 8)
