Lucky bastard, why should he get to miss the turgid shit he expects us to be delighted to watch ?falkirk goon wrote:I concurSean wrote:I'm glad The Old Fraud was finally sent off for his histrionics. Re: THE WENGER THREAD
His touchline ban is a good thing. I have always said Wenger's antics create negative energy among the players. As surely it cant be good for moral to see the manager flipping about wailing his arms and acting a nervous wreck.
I literally believe Wengers touchline ban is a positive, particular for our match away to Chelsea - Wenger not dithering on the touchline might ensure we play without nerves.
Wenger never offers encouragement, or direction, all he does, is complain to the referee and throw petty tantrums when things dont go our way. His presence on the touchline is determinantal, and now he doesn't have the chance to send negative signals to the players via the way of his antics.
I hope they throw the book at him - because the longer the ban, the more chance we have of gaining ground on Chelsea.

The pressurre of the OG has turned Mons Wenger and he's heading into the realms of abuse !
It starts with the Zipper, moves onto water bottle throwing and then it's abusing dumb animals ,in this case the 4th Official.
In a downward spiral Arsene will soon be swigging wine out the bottle sniffing charlie and waiting for the away teams bus as they enter ashburton grove .
If a fan pushed a steward in such a way he would be banned from the satdium for a minimum of 1 year and prosecuted for assault if it was a copper !

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Anybody who actually believes that his absence on the bench will allow bould to be more vocal and pro-active, is seriously f.cuking deluded
Le cock will still call the shots from up in the stands and he will relay them down to the bench to be implemented and bould will be the same good for nothing puppet that we have had the pleasure of observing for the past few years
Anyone who believes that wenker will give bould some power, should remember that it is only a couple of years ago that he didn't even let bould take control of training when he (wenker) was home sick, and instead gave the power to a fitness coach

At Sunderland, he apparently attacked the linesman in the tunnel after the match. The case ended up being thrown out by the FA as it wasn't entirely true and the linesman's version of events didn't match with anyone else's. Wenger claimed he was separating two players from an argument and the linesman got heavy-handed He had also made comments to friends about how he had got Wenger in trouble and would get him banned. I don't know what happened to him after that.Bradywasking wrote:Sunderland opening day of 2000/01 season..Didn't he get a ban then?Blade wrote:2nd time right?

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
He shoved Jose and managed to get away with it. The officials needs to take action. I really hope its a lengthy ban. He may not allow Bould to issue instuctions or take charge of running the team. But the players will be free from having to watch Wenger sh.. himself when the stakes are high. Imagine being a solider on the front line, and you're general pisses his pants. Well thats Wenger on the touchline - the players seem him meltdown, and it has an effect on them.

Vieira was sent off in that game and again against Liverpool on the Monday...bans were not automatic then( or maybe Vieira requested a hearing) Pires was on the bench at Sunderland for his first experience of English football and apparently was wondering what he had let himself in for..Perryashburtongroves wrote:At Sunderland, he apparently attacked the linesman in the tunnel after the match. The linesman was probably banned to a football purgatory. Or played left side midfield for Wenger a worse punishment.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Hey Arsene, if you're not allowed on the touchline you could divert some time to bringing in someone to cover Cazorla and Xhaka.
The window is still open.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Silly me! what am I thinking?
Wenger already decided what transfers he would do and when before the season kicked off.

Bould will probably have long lengths of line attached to him so Wenger can pull on them from up in the stands. One attached to each arm for gesticulating at the 4th official, one through his lower jaw so he can scream at the the 4th official and one through his collar so he can jerk his head back every time he sees Bould nodding off watching the turgid crap we produce.

said much the same on the Burnley thread...
I reiterate Wenger adds nothing from the Bench...nothing
cannot help the players when they are under pressure and looking to the bench to see him panicking and flapping around like he does

While I agree that Bould will probably get no control at all ... how is this for a typical Wenger's luck scenario? -xisstential wrote:Bould will probably have long lengths of line attached to him so Wenger can pull on them from up in the stands. Bould takes charge for 7 games ...., we put a run of wins together ... beat Bayern and Chelsea thanks to Bould's organisation and tactical nous ... close the gap .... stay in the FA Cup ... and Wenger gets a new contract on the back of it

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I would piss myslef if Bouldy took to the Technical area and 'Owned" it !
