Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Having a reasonable conversation on Twitter about Arsenal fans wanting Arsenal to lose in order to get rid if Wenger..Then some bloke called Arsenal Armory attacks me saying " how can you blame manager who has given so much, get some knowledge about club" followed up by "be careful what you wish for, just ask ManUtd fans"
Certainly put me in my place he did..

Really stung me in the end, said "imagine if Wenger leaves we may not get top four, look at Man U and LFC"....Bradywasking wrote:Having a reasonable conversation on Twitter about Arsenal fans wanting Arsenal to lose in order to get rid if Wenger..Then some bloke called Arsenal Armory attacks me saying " how can you blame manager who has given so much, get some knowledge about club" followed up by "be careful what you wish for, just ask ManUtd fans"

I'm taking a three day retreat, I'm going to watch reruns of famous VT Cup wins and last day maulings of WBA, Villa etc to renew my faith in AW.

Hey Baba. Spuds have still been unable to finish above this shit Arsenal side with it's fraudulent manager.

Regarding your question, I believe that this will be the year Spurs finish above us. Looking at the cold hard facts, they have been climbing up the league and strengthening their position amongst the big clubs, with a vibrant young manager who is probably the next big thing in English football. Compared to us who have stood still with our dinosaur in charge, i fear it will come home to roost this season as we were damn lucky last season

I honestly think that the stupid old *word censored* sits there at home in the evenings moving his 'virtual 11' around a Subbuteo pitch and making up the commentary. Probably shit like "A great pass by Ibrahimovich, to Kluivert, out wide to Ronaldo and finished superbly by Drogba. What a manager Wenger is. What a man. What an eye for a talent, all for exactly the amount he wanted to pay for them. No financial doping here."flash gunner wrote:Another one to add to the fantasy 11 of Wenger tried to signsNickF wrote:He is quoted as saying "We cannot explain everything - transfers are transfers - but it is quite obvious when you look at where he has gone."postmanPat91 wrote:Arsene Wenger has revealed his admiration for N'Golo Kante and admits he tried to sign the Frenchman twice.

Does he expect credit for this? Tried twice and failed twice you useless old duffer
I assumed this means we didn't want to pay his wages and that Wenger's valuation of a players worth is miles away from reality.

Why didn't he use Chelsea as the example ?Bradywasking wrote:Really stung me in the end, said "imagine if Wenger leaves we may not get top four, look at Man U and LFC"....Bradywasking wrote:Having a reasonable conversation on Twitter about Arsenal fans wanting Arsenal to lose in order to get rid if Wenger..Then some bloke called Arsenal Armory attacks me saying " how can you blame manager who has given so much, get some knowledge about club" followed up by "be careful what you wish for, just ask ManUtd fans"

No top 4 last season, New manager, and look at them this season.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
lets have 4 successive defeats.
Make his position untenable.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
This is exasperating. Yet this time, its even more unbelievable given the almost rush to give him a new contract. In what world of sanity, is signing Wenger up for another two years a good idea? The shit performances and textbook capitulation is nothing out of the ordinary, but in previous years Wenger always had a contract beyond the current year. He was lucky the last time he was off contract, was the year we won the FA Cup - so he had cover from which to sign the contract from. However this year, I cant fathom how Wenger signs a new deal.
Surely he must die a little inside every time he is dealt a hammer blow, ranging from losing players, failing in title run ins, going out in the CL 16, the string of heavy defeats - Liverpool, Chelsea, City, United, Bayern, Barcelona, Southampton, Everton, AC Milan have all fucked us up, and some of those teams have done it more than once. It surely must weigh heavy on Wenger. Why does he want to subject himself to this misery? Why does he continue to swim against the stream? He just cannot cut it anymore and its obvious. The Chelsea fans were chanting 'Arsene Wenger we hope you stay' - and they fuking meant it. Then they started chanting very bluntly 'your shit'. They smash us 3-0, Cesc gets on the score sheet - in essence they embarrass us and treat us like losers. Yet Wenger cannot do anything about it, he just sits in the stands with his dick in his hands, as Chelsea piss on us.
This never ending cycle is causing so mush animosity. The fans are restless and tense, and Wenger is restless and tense. So why the obsession to try to make it work? Why the constant march toward wanting to sign Wenger up again? Its not working, its not healthy, and its creating so much anxiety and hatred within the club.
He really does need to walk away. It shouldn't even be a discussion anymore.

Well wasn't that fun!!
Arsenal humiliated yet again by the very team Wenker has single handedly allowed to become the biggest team in London.
How this guy retains legendary status at the Emirates i will never know

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
The man just cannot stay on. Sanchez and Ozil being sold in the summer and how would he actually recover from that? If he signs on and both of those players leave, I would hope that most Arsenal fans will switch off.
For me, the last game for me to watch this season will be our bumholing against Bayern. At that point, it will be yet another capitulation against a decent team.

What a fantastic piece of management giving them two whole days off after the Watford performance in midweek proved to be. Absolute genius. Perhaps they'll get a whole week off after today.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
The Old Fart is now bitching about the first goal. So typical...whenever we lose, he highlights some perceived injustice, like that one 30 second incident explains away an utter shite overall performance. You NEED to go, Go, just Go now!!
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
As much as this result really hurts I think it's important for all arsenal fans to remember that with now 5 PL titles and a champions league win that chelsea ARE THE BIGGER CLUB, so it's no real shock....PS OX 'likes' an arsenalfantv clip that is calling for arsene to be sacked
