Decent point.

Nothing to write home about, but it'll do for now. After all, we don't want to peak too early, do we! :D

100% agree with augie re the vuvuzelas, dont have any problem with them. Yet. At least they drowned out the shitey brass band.

I’m pretty sure someone must have said this somewhere on this thread already but how fucking shit is that Adidas ball? :? That’s 10x the problem the vuvuzelas are. Constantly bounces 10ft higher off the turf than IHH, seems to hang in the air longer than it should, leading to countless ‘overhit’ passes & it skids along the surface quicker than a normal ball. Even simple passes that start off looking accurate end up zipping out of players’ reach. It's shit. :banghead:

Fair game, fair result I thought. Though I was sure England would squeek one in at the end. Yeah bad goalkeeper error and excellent saves by Timmy, the Jozy post shot. England were slighty better but not enough to say they should have won.

I don't think the ball is that bad. The game was played at about 1500m above sea level and altitude always tends to make balls carry further and higher, be it rugby, cricket or football.

What I don't get though, is that the players have got to the World Cup earlier than any squad in history. Surely they have practiced with the World Cup ball?

I listened to all this shit on the TV saying that we played well, but with the exception of Terry, Gerrard and Johnson, for me we were shit.

Lampard might as well fuck off home and put his Chelsea shirt on until next season starts. Never seen a guy look less like he gives a shit except when I see Denilson in an Arsenal shirt.

I missed seeing the team sheets at the start of the game. I was trying to work out the team from what was on TV. It took me less time to see Milner substituted than to see Fat Frank actually started...and he played as the AM....   ..the England supporters should change from God save the Queen to just...God save our team....

And whats with aaron lemon? If walcott had been playing like that you'd get all sorts of "he hasn't got a football brain, no end product" blah blah blah.
