You know what I thought on the way home. I thought 'at least I can go on Online Gooner when I get in and talk to like minded people about the bad result.'

Then I thought, 'Oh no, I'm going to be brain strangled by USMartins posts about the board' which regarding yesterdays game I had no absolute interest in.

Meh on the first point (barring Sid, Augie, Donaldo etc etc rants :D  )

Second is spot on, and something I also feared :banghead:

Almunia - he knows and we know that he cost us 2 goals yesterday (although the all round defending for their third was appalling). There's no way I would try and hide that fact. Personally as I've said before I still don't think he's as bad as is made out. They were his first errors of the season; something that Green, Reina, Howard, Gomes and even the much lauded Hart could not claim to have achieved. And he is still better than anything we have at the club. He heard the boos from the family enclosure by the way so congrats to all those who couldn't wait to throw the insults down (especially the guy in Row 16, Section 26 in front of me in the Family Enclosure......"Fuck off Almunia, you useless tosser" must have been a real help. BTW I noticed you singing his name after the penalty save - you know who you are).

If Wenger is going to sign a Lloris or Reina then fine - time for Almunia to be number 2. Until then please don't bring the likes of Schwarzer in.

Last thought - Vela showed yet again that in a game where we are struggling he'll never make an impact. Just like at the Lane when we more potent once he went off, he came on again to little effect. We all know that off the bunch when we're stuffing the likes of Bolton or Braga, he'll look a star, but until I see him do anything of note when we're losing a high tempo Prem or CL game I still maintain he's in the "not good enough" bracket
I agree with nearly all your thoughts especially about Vela.

However I just feel Almunia is a disgrace of a goalkeeper and certainly his frist mistake of the season was at Anfield letting in that Ngog goal at his near post. And that certainly was before any other keeper this season.

He is not better than anything we have at the club, fair enough Fabianski is pathetic, but Mannone vs Fulham was something Almunia has never done?

And I know you don't like the Scezney hype but I believe you cannot say Almunia is a better keeper until he gets a run in goals. He looked good in every game so far despite the different levels he played at.

Wenger is at fault, but if the only way he will listen is to give Almunia stick then so be it. This are grown men, players at every other club in the world get that. He's a big boy now, he should handle it. Easier especially with the ridiculous money he is on, for an absolute shit player. He's on 60k a week.... :banghead:

As much as I dislike him as a player, he should have came on around 50 minutes to help keep the ball.

West Brom finished the game with 51% ffs....

Almunia is NOT a good keeper, he is an accident waiting to happen in every single game we play. His only saving grace (no pun intended) is that Flappy is a much bigger accident waiting to happen!
It's so disgraceful that Wenger has let it come to this.

This is a dangerous time for me.

I am becoming seriously apathetic towards Arsenal games lately.

Time was I would have been pissed off all yesterday and spent most of today hungover.

These days, I couldn't give a fuck. The game ended yesterday I switched the feed off, and had a normal night with the family.

One thing I will say, don't know if it's been covered yet. WBA's second goal is the reason Song will never reach the standard required.

Maybe supporters who'd rather let our Board or anyone else screw the club over should as they like to tell me fuck off.

I don't think letting anyone hurt the club and saying nothing becauise that's what "loyal" supporters do achieves anything.

This kind of "loyalty" can hurt more than it can help.
