well for my first away game, i couldnt have asked for much more. Oh except seeing either goals by sanga and cahill! Obscured view! Really!!!!

Amazing atmosphere from the arsenal fans! Love the Nasri song, now only if we could get the Em's like that!

I hope i did my part, im now hooked, every possible away game from now on!

Sounds like a great game which I missed because of work :banghead: and stupid MOTD will probably cut the best bits to make it look like Everton were hard-done-by :roll:

I will if you will - Arshavin is the laziest player in the squad - End Of!!!.

Duuuurrrrr!

:roll: :roll: :roll:
That he may be - but he setup yet another goal.
By the way, French newspaper "L'équipe" told in their match highlights that Arshavin's pass for Sagna was a beauty... :shock: :lol:

Kudos to Sagna , Fabianski almost imperious , Djourou improving with every game , even Arshavin nearly broke a sweat but all hail the best rendition of
'Ten Men went to bed ' in a long time :wink:

Great job by our away fans. Arshavin had a little more hustle and it showed, lazy ass couldn't even make it to the 70th minute :lol: Nasri was solid too. Chamakh didn't have his best afternoon, but did his defensive duties well.

I almost had a stroke watching our defending in the last 10 minutes (incl. injury time); why we didn't try to kill the game off instead of passing around the ball is beyond me. Complacency crept in and it almost cost us. My tactical change would have been RVP in the 80th minute or so, to go for a third... although in retrospect Chamakh's defensive headers were valuable.

I'm glad we came out with a hard-earned 3 points in a difficult away fixture. The other result of the day* also was great news for Arsenal.

* And by that I mean Swansea 1 - Middlesborough 0 of course :D

just back, watching the game again on tv, i knew we were loud today,never heard everton once,but on tv it sounds like a home game for us :barscarf: plus on tv you can see the ball when its over 6 feet of the ground which you can't from where i was standing, think thats why they ring the pitch with stewards at half time in case we invade the pitch desperate to get a glimpse of daylight !!!!

welllllllll back and in bed after a long weekend of ups and downs in a weekend spent up in scouseland and all i can say is i fucking hate northerners, i never liked them before but now its turned to hate towards them, first of all a sniffer dog tries to rape me in a city centre and i have 7/8 policemen surrounding me like I am a criminal guilty of charge.....they then went onto try and force me to admit i had drugs on me as the dog had indicated i had, of course they then fully searched me , were very unpolite and forceful then sent me on my way once they realised i was of course clean..

Our bed and breakfast provided very nice facilities but the bloke running the place was a thug. After our night out we got back and went to bed...i remember hearing a bit of noise from other people staying there that night but anyway...the next morning at 8 we get the thug who runs the place banging on our door asking us to leave asap or he will call the police. We obviously questioned this in disbelief........to which he told us there had been complaints about us and we obviously could not believe this so questioned him further to which he replied (in these exact words) 'if u'se want me to make a phone call and have 20 of my boys down here we can go down that route if you want?' ......so after this blatent threat of violence and aggresion towards us we thought we'd get out of there and head towards a pub where we can be around southerners again. After this I just hoped we would smash Everton but was more than satisfied with the performance! Great win, eventful weekend and very glad to be down south again.

Time for me to find his hotel on every hotel website and write the worst reviews possible and hopefully one day see him go out of business and go bankrupt.....that would be fantastic :barscarf:

Good turnout from the gooners today...wasnt cesc immense? His workrate really was unbelievable - certainly looks like he has shaken off his hamstring trouble. Bring on the next few games.....big month now arsenal

PS - isnt it nice going through a spell of not picking up 3/4 injuries a game at the moment??

so it was silent apart from the odd rendition of "Stand up if you hate tottnum"? :lol: :lol:

away support was fantastic today, didnt sound like our home support but if 60,000 could put in that effort, we would have a fantastic home atmosphere :roll:

I really dont get all the negative stuff after todays game, we got three point away from home, had a fairly poor second half and held on.....more than can be said about man usa for one. But after a gritty performance at wolves in midweek, things have improved and are more positive. Some of the threads and discussion about the manager after two away wins is just laughable. Absolutley no faith at all. It a pity because i think we've shown real character since newcastle.

Our away fans can't be praised enough to be honest, brilliant every time. What pisses me off is our players showing very little appreciation to them, bar one or two. If I was a footballer playing for fans like that and have just scored a winning goal I'd run straight into them; our players on the other hand would rather do a silly dance in the corner or some shit.

A great and important win yesterday, great performances by both centre halfs and the keeper, and the magnificient support by our fans was loud, intense and constant, good stuff.

Good away win and a big 3 points with the Filth drawing and the chavs losing.

Was great to see Sagna just put his fucking foot through the ball instead of looking for that extra pass!!

Flappy made some good saves and his confidence was high but I just can't help feeling there is a match losing clanger in there just waiting... harsh, I know...

I've been a huge critic of Duh-nilson but in fairness to him he did ok when he came on. No major mistakes and he even passed the ball FORWARD at one point. Still think he is not good enough for Arsenal but credit where it's due he did well yesterday.

Only a couple of negatives for me;

We struggled in the second half. But to balance that, we STILL won, which is great.

AA23 still looks not too arsed about the whole thing... :roll:

Song again was getting too far forward too often. I know some on here think it's great to have a DM that storms forward but the problem is that when he does that Wilshire hangs back to cover him. And the problem with THAT is that Song just does not have the required deftness of touch, fleetness of foot, footballing intelligence or vision of pass to be exchanging passes on the edge of the box with Cesc, Nasri and Chamakh, whereas Wilshere does.

Thought augie was a bit harsh on Squidge TBH. No, he is not Tony Adams but I thought he did relatively ok (as did Johan - whom I also don't really rate) and as it's his first season in the PL I'll hold judgement a bit longer. Being honest though, I too have my doubts about his quality...

Oh, and the away support was awesome yesterday. Honestly could not hear the toffees until 10 minutes from the end. Well done all. 8)

Fantastic result at a ground that is hard for away teams and they hadnt lost for 7 gams before we beat them :barscarf:

It wasnt the best performance ever by us but you cant knock it if you come away with 3 points. We have to start beating weaker teams at home now :barscarf:
