I guess 48,000, but no expert in crowd control :D
Plenty of empty seats on all levels.

Henderson look confident and adaptable, in time might make a Rosicky type player but with more steel.

Miquel made a couple of mistakes involving loose passes, but I liked his assurance on the ball at times and confidence to get forward.

Rosicky took a slow walk round the pitch aided by two members of staff. Looked very unhappy and in pain.

Chamakh looked really nervous and unconfident, but I will judge him properly after 18 months, same as all imports.
Probably needs a bit of bulking up.

As a friend said, every time you wish Bendtner was sold, he goes and does something!

Very true Quartz. The funny thing is, I want to make a Wenger type comment.....apart from his goals, Bendtner didn't do anything other than give the ball away. You can't really knock the guy after scoring three but his general play was actually poor.

Yeah, a friend said as much after the game. His first touch was appalling (often is).
So strange to see him out wide too, he must feel strange playing there.
Thing is, he is an unorthodox player, and even on a bad day he always has that threat of shooting from distance, which is all too rare in our team.

On balance though, would be quite open to seeing him replaced in the summer with a more consistent player, think we could get about £10M for him.

I had the pick of about 30 seats around me in all directions, I had a right proper stretch out. Coulda set up a little gas stove if i'd wanted & cooked some grub. Maybe a fridge stocked with bevvies to one side, get a couch in there. I woulda been properly comfortable

Chamakh looked to me frustrated at being given fairly little to work with. There were not too many occasions where he was played in in front of goal. That said I thought he took his goal well & on another night there were a couple of other chances he had that would have ended up in the net.

It'll come good again for him...

Incredible that Bendtner's overall play was piss poor and he still manages to score a hat-trick. The pass across our six yard box had to be seen to be believed. Bendtner is a legend in his own lunchtime! :banghead:

whenever he comes in from the left, he looks at his most dangerous (providing his touch is half decent). the time when he punted the ball going round some player was hilarious.

not good enough, still young still a decent back up for a game like this. prefer to see him in the side than either diaby, denilson, eboue or rosicky.

Did anyone else see the group of Scouse Orient fans with the England flag near the Armoury about 6.30pm?

Wonder what they are all about?

I may come across as a bit of a 'flag nerd' here, but......

I'm sure most of us have seen that Man United banner, in the redb/white/black stripes, that says

UTD KIDS WIFE

IN THAT ORDER

With 'MUFC' and the badge in the middle.

I swear I saw this flag in the ground last night, over the bulkhead in the 'normal' away section. It had the 'UTD' bit blocked out (poorly), and the 'MU' part of MUFC was covered up with an 'LO', in a really strange manner.

So what appears to have happened is some Orient fan borrowed this flag from a Cockney Manc, and customised it for his own club, and then presumably will remove the temporary lettering and give it back to the United fan.

Very strange.

I noticed this too, even left the devil on it  :? I did wonder whether it was some bizzare twist on the "banner stealing" phenomenon that goes on in Europe. But then it's not usual practice for it to be customised for your own use lol...
