Re: Shammers v Arsenal match thread
Thought we played really well today and make no mistake, West Ham have been solid at home this year.
Cazorla was unreal and I'm happy for Giroud, he missed a few chances this season BUT he has a strikers instinct to get in those positions which Gervinho don't have, a goal and assist and hopefully this is him up and running as we need a striker.

Phil Dowd only awards penalties against us, usually straight out of his own imagination. Overweight turd.
Great result but why do we always have to suffer anxious moments?!!

Thought mert had a good game too...he reads the game so well and is able to place himself in the right place to intercept and made some v. important tackles today - well in all the games he has played this season to be fair!

Its him +1 now I think.
Re: Shammers v Arsenal match thread
Amazing that he failed to send Diame (already on a yellow) off for his late challenge on Arteta, but then booked Gervinho for an absolutely nothing tackle.Gunnersaurus wrote:He's a *word censored*, wasn't he the ref in the 4-4? bent as anything.

Late on he also gave them a goal kick when it was a clear corner then apologized to Poldi after having a look over at the linesman.
As you say, bent as anything.

Btw, anyone else pleased than Vaz Te ended up dislocating his shoulder after he deliberately left a leg to hurt Vito? Karma.

Exactly, its either a foul or not, how he can let him off because he knew he would have to go is a joke.
He should go down a league or two next week for that but he will get away with it.

Ridiculous not to send Diame off for the challenge on Arteta. No sympathy for Vaz Te.
On our side, BFG has excellent reading of the game - must start every week. He is not afraid to get stuck in and hoof it up the park when necessary even though it will be completely against Wengers' orders. Cazorla pure class. Jenkinson really has muscled up, this boy will be very good. Should annihilate Norwich.

Agree about Jenks, Sagna must be worried about his place in the side!!burg hohenzollern wrote:Ridiculous not to send Diame off for the challenge on Arteta. No sympathy for Vaz Te.

Giroud, scored one, laid one on and was unlucky on two or three occasions.Gunnersaurus wrote:Thought we played really well today and make no mistake, West Ham have been solid at home this year.

The guy will be fine, lovely diagonal run behind the defence that Santi spotted and played a majestic pass, shame that the keeper came out so quick to block.
Very happy with the 3 points, we have had a pretty tough away schedule so far, but looking good.
