VILLA AWAY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

They look at me as if I've lost my marbles when I say I want him gone. Are they in some cult? Have they been brain washed? It's very disconcerting to see grown men who actually think Wenger is the messiah. He can say or do no wrong as far as they are concerned.
My brother in law's an Oldham fan. He thinks I'm ungrateful and spoilt for complaining about Wenger & the situation at Arsenal in general. As if just because his club's a puddle of wank I should be judging a club of Arsenal's stature, history and potential by the same standards. It's even worse when that same attitude comes from other Arsenal fans. Sometimes it feels like supporting The Moonies.
This is what I think the phrase 'First World Problems' have been invented for ; the current situation can only really be appreciated by Arsenal fans who have kicked every ball for the last ten years ; It just doesn't translate to any other club in the country.

Rules used to be my favorite restaurant ever until they refurbished it in the mid 80's .
My boss used to have a standing reservation there at the table prince Bertie and Lilly langtry sat at complete with side .
Haven't been back since they poisoned me with a dodgy Oyster.

Saturday there were a lot of Old School Herd there so it's not surprising he got the bird ,but his comments afterwards are no worse than his normal drivel .
He's always been very distant to the fans but I would agree he's getting backed up in interviews by reporters who scent blood !
yep. Was a lot of old faces around, train home was a laugh. The old boys really dont like wenger that much haha

That just about sums Saturday up- good jolly up in The Whitton ( and honourable mention to the City Centre too), got soaking wet, had a good singsong in ground watched 90 mins of dross, got wet again then went home.

we found a great old pub in the centre that had a huge tv screen listing all their german beers and bitters. After the filth kicked us out the away pub few of us sneaked in there.
