SWANSEA FA CUP REPLAY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Swansea were warriors and we had to keep tapping at the door to eventually get in. I have been very very impressed by the whole Swansea set up this season. For a small club they have proven that you dont always have to pay 100,000 a week to get players to walk on a pitch and die for the team. Actually its the opposite just look at the duds we pay 60,000 a week to play in the reserves and Torres at Chelsea.
Swansea well played well defended and a credit to the league.

I didn't think they were warriors at all on Wednesday. I've been impressed with them in the past, most notably last season at our place, but it wasn't some huge lionheart performance from them Wednesday. We battered them all second half and for the second time in 10 days they were unable to string 3 passes together and just kept giving the ball away. The only reason it wasn't 3 or 4 was because Walcott missed a couple of absolute sitters and Giroud's finishing is severely inhibited by his general clumsiness.
