sp*rs (a) match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So the two constant factors displayed yet again

1. We can't defend

2. Our strike force is absolutely shit

Still, there's £123m sitting in the bank so who gives a shit eh?

Thought we were the best side for the first 30 minutes in terms of possession and pressing, but we did absolutely nothing with that dominance.
We had players itching to make runs off the last defender and not an attempt to play a ball over the top into space. We're now 2-0 down from a team who have done exactly that and all that space will disappear as Spurs can just sit back and take the victory. This is going to be a painful 45 minutes,,,

exactly.

In the past, defensive incompetence was compensated by our attack, although not enough to win anything.

Prior to the first goal we were by far the dominant team - we were controlling possession and we were in their faces winning it back everytime they had the ball. Since the first goal we have showed the total lack of backbone these spineless c**ts have

Have to say that I am amazed that while some of you have been pointing the fingers at potential scapegoats not one has mentioned wally  The overhyped and overpaid shit has contributed nothing to this game whatsoever

Gotta say that this is probably the 3rd or 4th game in a row that Giroud has been pants. If you pass him the ball, he loses it almost immediately.

Why can't we play Poldi instead? I guarantee that he scores once against these bastards...

Agreed - not exactly dominant but we were doing ok and spuds had no threat. I've got no complaints about the effort and commitment of the players, including ramsey

Walcott has been fucking shit. What helps conceal the fact is that useless big League 2 standard donkey playing alongside him is even fucking worse. What on earth was that attempted right foot finish when he was put through. Everyone can keep convincing themselves he's doing well and he needs time but his technique and lack of pace will never, ever allow him to become a top level footballer
