Yes great tonight but needs to do it in the big games to be world class.Has disappeared against the top teams this season
agreed - it's been a failing of our team.
I've basically blanked out the 2-1 humiliation at Prawnville but I do remember Santi was decent and scored a banger.
Still an epic first season.

Finally he got a goal and feels like 3 points in the bag. It has been a while we last conceded from open play. Our defence is putting solid performance game after game.
I was shocked at the Kos-Mert 17 PL game unbeaten stat.

Shez left in no mans land if Kos domn't get it grasping at thin air on the floor, while the ball is in the air.

Very close to being a boot in the face, penalty and red card. The fine margins of football. BTW the ref was agin us today.

To be clear I hate the *word censored* but I think Sir Alex was on our side tonight cos of the nice things zippy was saying.

I have to admit Kos has been very good, and Mert has looked comfortable playing with him, its good to see the wingers helping the fullbacks so much, and it makes a huge difference, if utd can do it, we have no excuses. The problem for me is I have seen us defend like this before but then become complacent and go back to our old ways.

As for sczez, I wonder how he was reading the flight of the ball??? He was going to miss that by a mile.

Just got back from the game. How many times recently have we taken an early lead and then not gone for it. To be honest, Wigan were there for the taking. They really are poor at the back and it's clearly why they've been relegated. They've got some good players going forward, but if we showed a bit more desire in the first half, it could have been a lot more comfortable. A decent result in the end, and Cazorla was true quality. A pleasure to watch. Oh and Ramsey put in a real shift, scored a great goal but still did his customary giving the ball away for no reason on a few occasions. Squeaky bum Sunday! Far from guaranteed.

Important win and yes, it was convincing in the end. But their was a 30 min period spanning half time which gives me cause for concern re Sunday's game.

Just got back from the grove, very wet and very relieved. As Dan states Either side of half time we were very sloppy and Wigan should really of punished us...... but they didn't. :o
It has to be said Mike fucking Dean is a prick of the highest order, I've always hated the *word censored* and today's effort at officiating hasn't made me hate him any less! He is a fucking disgrace and I hope the vitriolic abuse he received at half time may have made him think twice with a couple of decisions that went our way later. :censored:
I thought most of the boys put in a pretty good shift to be honest, but Sagna is really starting to annoy me now with his half hearted performances. He so clearly wants out and has to go in the summer.
Both CB's top notch tonight.... Cazorla immense and happy with Poldi's brace and a goal for Rambo too....... bring on the barcodes! :barscarf:

Thanks for reminding us NB....... I had totally forgot with all the shit we have had to watch since!

harsh to say still deeply unconvinced about Podolski as central striker...?
I think he either needs a partner or to come in from the left

Had an assist at the bridge and scored at Old Trafford and got another goal and assist against scum at home. And that was while playing behind the useless oaf that is Giroud.

This, in the big games this season Cazorla has not had a central striker worthy of the name to play with.

Cliché yes but I think santi still has some adapting to do to England, he had a bit of a slump around christmas/new year
