Groundhog summer transfer window thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

worriyingly he appears to have been given a squad number.

I think the old fella is past it now, even for the lower leagues, but I guess he is a positive influence to have around the place. Maybe some of our squad can learn from him or maybe he could even improve himself if he is fortunate enough to get a masterclass from Bendtner!

Equally worrying is the amount of braindead prix advocating signing him in the comments after the article

No some people want to see him signed up again which is different than being happy to see him back training at the club. Anyway being a legend shouldn't entitle a player to sign for the club everytime he is on hols from his real job should it ? :?

Worryingly?

Spuddy, I can only assume you've joined SteveO's Abou is God camp, because the worrying thing for them is that Henry is sporting Diaby's famous number 2! :barscarf: :o

It begins with the first of four corners ticked off on my bingo card. "January deals are hard to find"

Yes I expect all the top clubs will struggle once more

ONE ARSENE WENGER.........THERE'S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER

"Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes the imminent returns to fitness of forwards Theo Walcott, 24, and Lukas Podolski, 28, means he will not need to buy a striker in January."

Yup we may as well lock the fucker now.

Just about to post this - very disappointing to read, and pretty much diminishes the little hope we had of us signing anyone.

I guess nobody is coming :rubchin:
