Fabianski & Chamberlain excellent. Thought Ozil played well too.

squeaky bum time again. We needed a bit of luck but you do to win a cup. Plus Suarez needs some payback for all his salmon diving :D
Fabianski outstanding except for one flap. But Rodgers can't have been upset to see Poldi and Ox subbed (aka our only goal threat). Jens reckons Poldi gets so few chances in the first team, but is our most clinical finisher. Let's hope Wenger's listening to Mad Jens, but I expect just Giroud up front on weds & Poldi to get on on 70 mins if at all :banghead:

Well played guys anyhow. A lot more movement in the team today with 2 up front and some pace in the Ox. Better for Ozil too.

Jens: Poldi too good to keep sitting on the bench so will be most likely playing elsewhere next season. F**k you Wenger.

OZil and Pod is a FAR FAR better combination, please can Giroud have a bit longer rest?

Ox interview as impressive Lehmann being drowned out by "We are the Tottenham haters"  :barscarf:

Absolutely stonewall blatant penalty. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: Hope the scouse bastards choke on their own indignity during their inevitable minutes silence next week for the penalty that was so cruelly taken from them before it's time.

Besides, the first was soft. Stupid challenge from Poldi but still a dive. The whole "there only has to be contact" bollocks has gone way too far now. When did football suddenly become a non-contact sport the moment you enter the penalty box? If that's the case why was it not a penalty when Skrtl caught Santi? What about when a striker makes contact with a defender in the box, is it automatically a free kick or is it only non-contact in one direction?

bit of fucking sweet justice having their pen claim turned down after the obvious dive for the first plus the blatant shirt pulling in the box from agger and skrtel. oh and wheres our european cup? wheres your premier league? 7 fa cups to 10, you bitter, rancid, self pitying pathetic little cretins.

That's what I said but most seem to think that it was correct decision :o

Hard game to assess - we def played with more drive and passion that we have seen recently but in the 2nd half, when we were under sustained pressure, we had nobody to take control of the game. Our full backs were both poor imo, our centre halves were split too easily and too often and had fcuk all protection from arteta and flamoney in the 2nd half.

Am still absolutely fuming at the subbing of podolski and ox - in the first half we showed what a difference it makes when we play with real pace and yet we take off our speedy motm ox ?? :? Podolski never stopped working and got one chance which he finished clinically which sums him up really, and yet we took him off - for me ozil, as well as he played, should have been the man to be subbed as podolski's workrate is higher and is a bigger goal threat too

ref had an awful game, we benefited on the Ox penalty call, but they did more so on the lack of red card for sterling for pushing him and for the greatest player ever Stevie Me not getting second yellow. Thought there was a possible penalty or edge of box call against Skertel for ahand ball. The whole debacle of last week is compounded today by seeing how bad Skertel is, but we didn't pressure him last week .
On the game today, firstly Sanogo is not a top class player or anywhere near that..BUT he gave Liverpool something to think about , which is far better than watching Super Nick amble around the pitch not caring a fuck. Think the Danes put down the wrong Giraffe last week. (is it ok to say that ?). Fabianski was outstanding , Ox was great and Oxil was better. Podolski is our only world class goalscorerer.
