World Cup 2014 Squads and Games

Agreed. Hopefully he'll have a good world cup and begin the new season for us well.

whether it' been a narrow or a heavy defeat, the likes of Spain, Portugal and England and most of the other teams who lost their opening match will rightly fancy their chances to progress to the next round.

Müller is class even though he doesn't look like a decent player.

Mueller doesn't seem to be exceptional other than that he has the nack of being in the right place at the right time, and that is a hard thing to find, he is extremely valuable for Germany and indeed Bayern. Pepe might think differently of him though!

In terms of England, I still fancy us to get through. Looking forward to Thursday.

Thought the Pepe red card was incredibly harsh. He's easy fodder for lazy pundits because he has past form for daft red cards but when you consider Pogba only got a yellow for kicking out against Honduras then attacking Mueller with smelly breath is hardly crime of the century.

He butted him - yes it wasn't the hardest headbutt ever but the dirty scumbag knacker still butted him needlessly and had to go.
Pogba absolutely should have seen red last night - do not know what game th14 was watching last night when he said that it wasn't a red card offence

Sorry, old chap. But might I enquire as to exactly whom, or what, you were representing on this occasion? :rubchin:

Why isn't Tim Vickery on the BBC more? Someone who actually knows what he's talking about.

Given that he is a South American football expert I imagine he's been wheeled out a fair bit this WC?

This is one very average Brazilian team, the only players that have any class ar Neymar and marcello.
I think they are the Bookies favourites only because of home advantage.
