THE WENGER THREAD

From SSN
"09:10
NO SIGN OF ARSENE
The Arsenal boss is yet to arrive at his media conference. But, manager media conferences never normally run as clockwork…
…hopefully the delay will not be too long!"

I just want to see him squirm when he's asked about his future. I doubt we'll be lucky enough to hear him confirm anything but I remain hopeful.

I saw what he was up to in 2006,GTG wrote:No change of manager can guarantee you anything but it's high time we at least tried as a club because we as fans deserve better in terms of preparation and discipline at this club. If we get that and still don't do any better than top 4 I think fans could accept it a lot easier. If we consistently saw our teams look more prepared and giving 100%.Allgunsblazin wrote:When you are being paid a kings ransom even you would not contemplate resignation...
Europe every season has guaranteed his tenure, other clubs would bite their hands off to have this model of consistency...
The Rewengers of the status quo do have a point in terms of regular European cash injections to a club that is still paying for a stadium...
The Wexiteers want him out at any cost!
I suggest we start looking for a replacement, but someone who will guarantee us Europe each and every season, because if we falter then budgets will have to be reset, and I ain't going back to the fucking 80's where it was so pisspoor!
Name that manager who will get us to where we want to go!
Arsene Wenger is an old man now and regardless of your views on him, his time has to come to an end and that time has to be now. Whoever comes in is on a hiding to nothing because he will not have Sanchez and quite possibly a few others will go too. There will be a rebuilding process which may see us outside the top 4 but you know what bring it on!
I'd love for a couple of seasons to be able to sit back and think - I can see what's building here
But if I dared utter a word against him, even you would have shouted me down...
Yes I sussed him out, his signings, his substitutions, hIs mantra, it was there for everyone to see, but you were all blinded by his past, and you all have to take some of the blame for creating this monster...
We have no control on who owns this club, but if we want to move forward we have to find a manager that will give us Europe every season, that is where the cash is!
Football is a business, it has ceased to be a sport, it's all about TV, sponsorship, ratings, coverage, in actual fact it has lost its way which in effect has lost the most loyal of fans...

To be honest he doesn't look phased at all - his future 'is not a real problem' 'chapter closed' nuff said - a change is not gonna come

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
oh well, we got to see him wriggle a bit. at least the press are questioning him about his future now.
