When you are at the top end of the table I suppose the occasional smashing gets overlooked!...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
So there was no dressing room row and Sanchez has a court case in Barca.
Shows what a load of toss the media keep spouting.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
He says that you have to pay compliment Bayern as they have "top class players" ..............is the implication that we don't ? What happened to the best squad he has ever had shite ?
He was asked if his contract uncertainty is affecting the players, and his response was no and that it is important not to look for excuses ............like two footballs on the pitch arsene ?
Love the way he gets it in (again) that he has had offers in the past from other clubs - how many of them would take you know you old c.unt ?

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
paraphrasing...The club didn't have a Champions League history until he came... Which is like saying my Grandfather didn't have a Sony Experia mobile phone in 1942. It didn't exist in its format then. He said the club had played only something like ten Euorpean cup games before he came and only Arsenal , Bayern(?) and Real have played in the Champions League for twenty years.. He wants to focus on real problems and not his future..Your future and your present is the REAL PROBLEM .

Looked pretty calm I thought - he's got some serious mental strength having been put under a ton of pressure recentlyMidz wrote:oh well, we got to see him wriggle a bit. at least the press are questioning him about his future now.

Of course, Arsene never lies

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
There you have it from the horses mouth. He will be managing somewhere next season whether that be here or somewhere else.
Now i've read plenty of posts saying protest is totally pointless but surely now everyone can see that if we don't at least try and hound the guy out he is likely going to sign that deal. The board certainly want him too thats a given so I don't see him leaving any other way except fan pressure.
I couldn't give a toss what the meejah think of it - we all know that him leaving is the best thing for the club so lets make our feelings known. I certainly will be at the remaining away games Im going to this season.

Even if I go Arsenal will not win every game.
What????? Why didn't anyone tell me that????? Right, I'm changing my mind I want him to stay
He's in full blown mental mode now

That presser suggests to me that he intends to stay and will attempt to ride this storm out.GTG wrote:There you have it from the horses mouth. He will be managing somewhere next season whether that be here or somewhere else.

"In the last 20 years only 3 clubs have played every season in the CL - Arsenal, Munich and Madrid"
Sounds like some geezer off here
Have Munich or Madrid won it in that time I wonder?

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Are the press conferences controlled environments now? I wonder if they have to submit what questions they'll ask beforehand and are only allowed to ask certain ones. Or do the club say that they will only answer certain questions?
I don't know, just curious.
It's not important what history the club has and what they have or haven't won in the past. What matters is the here and now and how the team plays now game after game after game.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Glad that he will make a decision in a month or two.
Worrying that he will manage somewhere next year. Surely he will twig that he won't get such an easy ride or be allowed to embark on whatever vanity project takes his fancy in any other job.
Lol at his comments about we won't win every game if he leaves and it's not like we had won the CL 5 times before. Straight out of the AKB loony bin.
