This fucking nightmare will continue....how did Arsenal FC get in such a position????

Todays papers....believe me he will front this out....

After a good night's sleep Gunners boss' German nightmare is forgotten - as if the maulings over the years had never happened.....

He declared: “You do not stay somewhere for 20 years to then walk out after a defeat like that.”

So self interest trumps trying to move Arsenal into the elite group. Self interest for the owner directors manager and pampered players.

What an unambitious club we've turned into.

PROTESTS ARE NEEDED !!!!!!!!
I couldn't agree more, that total lack of ambition really hurts me. Considering what Wenger gets paid per season.
Like I said to several AFC and friends recently. If he does stay he should come out and say, I will take a 50% pay cut and then be awarded on points gained, cups, won, progress to the Semi's etc. It might actually work for him and some of the free loading players we have.

However, should he stay one more and I am convinced he will, and then nothing changes we will have more of the same next season.
Dare I say it, is Alexis does depart and we don't replace him with the same type or other 'top-level' !! players then we really endure another lacklustre season again..................................... :x

I saw this happen as a kid with Don Howe and also GG in his last 2 seasons. Granted football has changed dramatically over the years & is a business now. But I do feel the amount we shell out on tickets, season tickets we should have much better return.

Wenger needs to understand that the club need to build now for the future, it will be totally crap for a couple of years my friends once he goes, but we have to start the process of going forward again... :barscarf: :barscarf:

He's not leaving! Not only is he referring to future events at Arsenal as 'We', he is playing this contract process the same way as he always does (funny that, he can only do something one way)!
He always makes the board wait, they sweat, the media say he's off, board sweats some more, he talks about the virtual jobs he could have had, board shits itself and hey presto, the fucker gets another million pay rise to stay! Seriously, it's fucking obvious the game he is playing, he is a greedy dictator, he LOVES the power of holding everyone in 'suspense' and he does it also knowing he'll get more money. Arrogant greedy narcissistic crunt. I'd bet every penny I have he'll 'announce' in a few weeks time that he loves the club and wants to take it forward and build on the tremendous success of all the CL qualifications. He is NOT leaving! Don't be fooled!! :banghead:

We've all said it before,he should have been gone at least 8 seasons ago.I personally started having major doubts when he flogged Paddy and then wanted him gone after his treatment of Bobby after Paris and the whole 1yr extension shite. He has ridden out some serious maulings and he has also pished and shat all over our great clubs history in pressers regularly these last few years. The man is a *word censored* I despise him.

Like many older fans on here started going in the 80's seen the good and bad.....but always enjoyed going to watch us home and away whatever the result.

90's and up to around 08 due to work commitments at the time worked a lot of weekends but still got to 8-10 home games a season.

Since around 2010 two or three home games a season to catch up with old gooner mates work commitments and the realization that we were going backwards under this regime in a soulless stadium and had been fed a pack of lies about competing. The main lies being peddled by the manager a busted flush and a charlatan.

Last game I attended 2013 v Southampton at home and only went due to meeting a mate I hadn't seen in years.I walked out of the stadium and said to my mate that's the last game I will attend under this manager.

He has drained the one thing a football fan should have in their club, belief. He has overseen a club going backwards be careful what you wish for.

I wish for a club with direction and a plan.

A once great manager said.....if you offered me 2nd place for the next 20 years I would sign up for it.

Leads you to all you need to know about the mans mentality.

Hate him too, not sure I've hated anyone as much as I hate Wenger right now, it's just got beyond ridiculous. As we've all said, 2008 in hindsight but 2010/11 at the end was 100% the right time, he had plenty of opportunities and failed, there was no doubts at that point about his inadequacies. To even indulge him until 2014 was a joke but still?! This is like some twisted nightmare.

Who are the people that keep singing his name at the end of every season? As long as the Emirates is full of people who support him it won't change. Who are these fans, where did they come from? I couldn't see this ever happening at Highbury. Do u remember the chants of 'u don't know what ur doing' a few years back? Did all them people just stop going??

If he signs on, i reluctancy hate to say it but the club is dead as we knew it, and I can see myself maybe cutting my ties completely, life is too short. I keep a Silver reg in the hope of change but not enjoyed going since 2009; but if he signs on, I can't see the point of it anymore. Possibly the most depressing club in world football right now when u factor in the prices, the potential, the stagnation and the frustration. Oh and the utter garbage football that is on display since 2011. Much rather be in say a team like Leeds shoes on the way up, that is of course if he signs on. There is still a chance he might not, especially if we finish outside the top 4 which I believe will happen this season.

The only redemption for this season is more humiliation for him, it's all he deserves. Arsenal as a club can't win whilst he is there.

Even if he does leave then he will try and make damn sure that we are not going to appoint an old hand (in the mould of Ancelotti) who will come in and be ruthless with underperforming players and idiotic tactics and culture, spend money if he thinks he needs to and possibly be an early success.

That is Wenger's nightmare and his ego couldn't accept somebody coming in and immediately doing much better. He will want a fucking under qualified no mark like Eddie Howe to take over. Which will suit Wiggy.

Wish the board had a fucking backbone.

The bloke has no intention of moving on and the board have no intention of moving him on

Remember this is the bloke who has seen 8-2 defeats come and go, and lost 6-0 in his 1000th match in charge. Losing 5-1 to Bayern will hardly stop him with his never ending socialist project will it ?

Will everybody stop being so pessimistic. For the first time in 10 fuckin years we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Yes if he had any decency he'd have left already. But we all know he hasnt a shred of decency in his body so we're gonna have to suffer on until May.

But thats it. Come May our nightmare is over.
