The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

YYYYYYAAAYYY

Remember watching Sanchez in 2010 before he went to barca.

Can't believe he is an Arsenal player.

Brilliant news :barscarf:

Still don't ever see him cutting it at Arsenal. In fact I think when he leaves permanently in a year or two's time he will struggle to find a starting berth anywhere in the PL.

I dunno NB123.
He is just 22 now. IMHO, given two full seasons at another PL club he should make the grade for us.
Maybe my will for him to make it with us is clouding my judgement?
He tries his best but is also tactically unaware. He has time on his side. I just hope that his expulsion does not affect his confidence.

He's not dreadful. I just honestly do not see anything in him that raises him above your average young PL right-back.

Thats it...im buying a jersey

I always maintained that i wouldnt buy gear till wenger bought players....and i maintain that Ozil was not a wenger signing.

But this for me is different......weeks to go till the season starts and although we may argue about best position etc theres no doubting the ability....Im so happy!!!!!

No he didn't. But it's obvious there is more business to be done.

I meant to write on here earlier but I, like many of you have been busy with several bouts of masterbation. Is this real life?

Hope we can get Debuchy, a top quality defensive midfielder i.e Khedira or Bender, decent cover for Chesney, and another striker perhaps Loic Remy. Obviously we also have to replace players that we sell too.

I'm ok with Arteta and Rosicky (even though we know the guy will stay and play well until he is rewarded yet another contract extension) leaving.

I hope we are not getting too far ahead of ourselves but Wenger has gotten my hopes up again and thats something he hasn't done in years.

On a side note guys I seen our chief scout Steve Rowley at a Cork City FC (my local teams) match the other night and had no idea what he was doing there. Turns out he watching a guy named Brien Lennihan. Hes a 20 year old right back. It is a strange one though he is very good player at that level.

Anywho more imporantly back to the masterbation what a day for the club and lets hope we are not done there.
