From the Leicester statement:

"But we are duty-bound to put the club's long-term interests above all sense of personal sentiment, no matter how strong that might be."

Shame our club doesn't think like that. :(

Spot On. I said this on here about a year ago and got slaughtered but its good to see people are coming round to see the real root cause of the problem. Its the person or persons keeping wenger in the job. I'm sure nearly everyone on here will stay in job, if they keep getting offered a new contract to deliver the same target for 12 years.
Oh I'm not "coming round", mate - I've said it for years that Kroenke is as big a problem as Wenger, but in a different way. In the short term Wenger Out has to be the priority, but in the long term Kroenke Out is even more important for the future health of the club.

They are, but it is a different agenda to how a fan thinks, or at least fans that want to see a managerial change.

Seriously, what do you expect him to say?
He's not endorsing Wenger or the team, merely saying he expects the team to give it their best.

I think that's exactly what Redarmy is saying. Mealy mouthed and settling. That's what we do before, during and after the season, the culture of the club.

Alternatively, he could say nothing, which seems on most occasions the wisest choice. :|

You'll now see lots of comments from the board/Wonga about Sanchez/Ozil. They will manipulate the media to make Sanchez and Ozil look like they are holding Arsenal to ransom over new contracts (which they are to a point) but I believe Arsenal want them to go, let me explain. There is a good chance we will not make CL qualification this year. That's a minimum £40m loss guaranteed, more if we made it to the 'last 16 get knockedout round' as usual. Wonga already came out a few years back and told him Kranky wants a profit delivered each season, can't remember the exact figure. The only way for Arsenal to make up for the loss of 40m+ is to sell but they can't afford to just announce they are selling one of or both of our best players, it will affect ST/Box sales, so they will make it look like Sanchez and Ozil really want to go but the reality is, they are going to be sold anyway imo. Sanchez should bring in around 65m and Ozil maybe around 40m, so that will cover all losses, a bit of profit on top plus give Wonga 20-30m to buy another load of shit like Xhaka to 'appease' the fans. Seriously, I think they will let both go because Arsenal are a selling club and profit is what matters most but they will never ever admit it (and can't because that would be the end)!!! :banghead:

Sorry mate expect him to reject this cycle of repeat failure/humiliation.......making a show in second leg is bollox, Total fucking Bollox
Its a dead rubber...dont give a fuck if we win 1-0, nor do Bayern
So we beat Bayern 2-0 and we all say everything is great again...LOL
he is missing the point, Change is required....lessons not learnt....fuck me disastrous results at Everton, City, Chelsea, Bayern
He should say this humiliation is not good enough and as Arsenal FC we Should expect better

Someone please change this situation its absolutely crazy.....and the board are the ones who can implement change

surprised he did not say everyone get behind the team for a top 4 finish :barscarf: and celebrate when we finish above scum :barscarf: :barscarf:

From BBC Website:

"Arsenal have warned forward Alexis Sanchez and midfielder Mesut Ozil, both 28, they will not bow to their contract demands despite having cash reserves of more than £100m. (Daily Mail)"

When they say "Arsenal" - in reality they mean Arsene, seeing as it is he who oversee's all things including signings, transfers, and contract negotiations at the club - So because the tightwadcunt won't spend the money we the fans have poured into the club - we will probably lose the best players in the squad.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Arsenal are monitoring midfielder Pablo Fornals, 21, who has scored four goals this season for Malaga. (Marca, via Sun)

The Gunners could finally sign long-time target Alexandre Lacazette as the 25-year-old forward looks set to leave Lyon this summer, but Atletico Madrid are also interested.(Metro)

:blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: Just a few more to add to the Virtual Squad that the old fool keeps blathering on about....He truly is a demented fool.

There is simply no excuse for letting Sanchez go, I am done with Arsenal if he goes, will still be an Arsenal fan of course but will have little interest in the club and watching games either live or on TV if we're going down the line of selling our best player(s) again, we were told this was over now and with the new commercial deals, new TV money and two billionaire's involved in the club we should NOT be selling our best players, the club can go f**k itself (by club I mean Kroenke, the board etc. not Arsenal FC) if they want to claim this poverty bs again.

Lets face it - take Cazorla, Sanchez and Ozil out of the lineup and we look like a midtable club. I don't think I'm alone here and a lot of gooners are ready to snap if the board cry poverty and give Wenger a new deal or appoint a poor choice of manager.

F**k knows how they still manage to sell out the boxes and ST's already let alone if they start with more of this, especially with scum and probably chavski upgrading their stadia in the next 5 years we will become a second-rate show for the prawn sandwich brigade.
