THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The more I read about this egotist, the more glad I am that I'm going down for the protest...it might not help in the slightest but I will get great personal satisfaction protesting publicly to let this selfish, self centred, self absorbed, narcissistic PRICK know what I think of him.

I am actually now regretting not getting a nastier banner made.

This is getting funnier and funnier. Of course, a European giant will come in for Wenger after all of his trophy hauls in Europe.....

So that'd be Olympiakos then ;-)

I can't see one contender for the CL hiring Wenger. That is where he is simply deluded.
Good comments from Mark Halfpenny in that article. Set the right tone. 8)

Shame the "journalist" cúnt could not resist sticking in this bit;

"The march has not been organised with the same cross-supporters’ group backing as a protest against Wenger during a Premier League game against Norwich in April, although the impact that day was diluted by the majority of fans singing the manager’s name in support."

TBH - I like James Olley. He has been critical of Wenger and his methods. He doesn't have a book coming out (as far as I am aware), so is an actual impartial journalist. I don't really see anything wrong with what he said other than that it was not a Wenger Out protest last year.

This is what makes this Protest more unique. It is trying to get around the Supporters groups which usually are scared to alienate their followers by taking a stand. If they would only spread the word without backing it, then there could be more of a turnout.

The Frenchman would prefer to bring Europe’s premier prize back to Arsenal having transformed the club during his time in charge

Isn't it laughable how a sentence like the above,meant to be a compliment, to us has become like a dagger in the heart.

Mr Principles also advised the Qatari group on taking over PSG :lol: :roll:

I like the idea of him seeking out the club best equipped for a CL victory as if Arsenal have somehow let him down, rather than him letting the club down with his inept tactics, poor signings and his inability to learn from almost 20 years of mistakes.

Liked this story regardless of what paper it's in just hope there's some truth in it.
