Definitely agree with his.

When Wenger came in he inherited a top class keeper and one of the best defences ever assembled in the game. He had an absolute lethal finisher in Wrighty and a world class player to compliment him in Bergkamp.

Only the midfield needed an initial overhaul, the bones of an exceptional side was handed to him on a plate.

What's the new guy gonna get handed? Fucking helmet head in goal (I saw a stat this morning that said 20% of the entire amount of goals he's conceded in his whole career have come in just the 2 seasons he's been with us) and a back 4 that would give you nightmares. Maybe, just maybe, Kos and Bellerin could be saved by someone who would actually coach the team but everyone else needs to be dumped.

A limp dick midfield swamped with dross, each one a pathetic clone of the next, you could sell them all and barely notice the difference. The only 2 top class players we have can't wait to get the fuck out the door in the summer and when he lays his eyes on the striking department (the greatest attacking unit Wanka has ever assembled....according to himself anyway  ) - Giroud, Lucas and Welbeck the only question he's gonna ask himself is -

Where the fuck do I start??? :banghead:
Yep, its the cult of personality that exists with Wenger. There are a large faction of fans and pundits who are prepared to elevate him to a level he is not even close to. For instance, Martin Keown said post the Liverpool match: '‘I’m struggling to remember a more tepid performance in the last 20 years under Wenger. There was a lack of spirit and fire in their bellies.’

Really, so this was a one off and mere blip on Wengers high standards. Or have we not lost games by these margins in the past few years, let alone 20 years. Man City 6-3, Chelsea 6-0, Man United 8-2, Bayern Munich 5-1, Bayern Munich 5-1 , Barcelona 4-1. Barcelona 3-1, Southampton 4-0, Everton 3-0, Liverpool 5-1, AC Milan 4-0, Chelsea 3-0, Chelsea 3-1, Man United 3-1, Monaco 3-1, Man City 3-0, Tottenham 5-1, Liverpool 3-1, Chelsea 3-1, Aston Villa 3-1, Mancheter United 3-1. And im sure there a few more that escape me. Now it might seem a bit harsh, although I believe 3-1 is a beat down. 2-0 is well beaten, but 3-1 is a put down, as conceding 3 goals in a match pretty much ensures defeat, as you dont see many 3-3 draws.

Why does Keown have to say he is struggling to find a more tepid performance in 20 years, when youthe 5-1 hatched job by Bayern, was less than a month ago? Is Keown just ignorant, or is he pushing the cult of personality by speculating these type of performance are a rarity, as like he says, he is 'struggling' to recall a more tepid performance in over 20 years.

For such a hard defender, he really is a piss weak pundit.

The Reality is that even if Mr. Wenger signs a new 2 year contract, and even if we don't make the Top 6, and even if Sanchez/ Özil go ( worst case scenario... and I see that happening ) then Kroenke will replace Sanchez/Özil with two "World Class Players", and probably buy a couple of big-money signings to add to that, as he did with Xhaka and Mustafi last summer.

It is. Sorry to smash your illusion.
It really hurt when I realised it too, if that helps.

Sadly I can't blame the old duffer for this.
When I sense my time's almost up I will most probably be thinking about having just one more go on my favourite ride!
What have you been smoking?, Kroenke has about as much ambition as most of the guests on Jeremy Kyle show. I predict that if this c**t sticks around much beyond Wenger we'll end up going the way of Everton in the 80's or Liverpool in the 90's, we will be top 7 or 8 but not much more.

This is why I'm not going to the protest on Tuesday, I do want Wenger out but I want Kroenke out more, if/when there is an organised protest to get this sack of turd out I will be there at the speed of sound.

There is simply no evidence to suggest he has any great ambition for his 'British soccer franchise', he shows no ambition with his US sports teams so why would he have more for one outside the US?. Why do you think David Dein switched sides to Usmanov so quickly?, he was obviously hearing stuff from Kroenke that he didn't like.
Wenger is a battle in the bigger war mate. You want rid of Kroenke, deposing Wenger will go a long way towards that imo. I'd urge you to try and come down and show the club that the fans aren't having it anymore. If we can shift Wenger, Kroenke will realise we're not a US sports team, but an English Football Club and not the pushover he thought we were.

I'm wondering if I'll ever get over this total frustration I feel for the whole club now,Cuntchops, the bottlejob wankers who aint fit to wear the shirt, the Gestapo c*nts who get given a hi-viz and think they are God almighty at the ground,I dont ever remember this feeling at Highbury,it seemed so care-free over there,I'm not sure I'll ever love Arsenal the same way even after the fraud is long gone, that c*nt has a lot to answer for...

That is going to make today's visit to hubcap city look like a stroll in the park on a sunny day. :( :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
And when we draw them in the cup semi and lose.

Yeah you just know we will get drawn against them, at the present moment I think we would lose to them as well
I actually wish we were away to the chavs or city. Just to get this shit over and done with. It'll be them v us in the semi and I really can't be fucking bothered with all of that.

Yeah agree 100%, fingers crossed we will avoid them in the semi but got a gut feeling we will get them and cant see us winning

Going back to keown on motd last night, what surprised me was the criticism that things are not being addressed on the training ground   Every di*khead pundit was going to come out and slate the decision to drop sanchez so by suggesting that he was stunned by the decision, he wasn't exactly sticking his neck out - however to come out and question the preparation and planning that is being done by wenker, is absolutely pointing the finger at wenker and is emphasizing the whole groundhog day life at AFC 8)

Scene: Pre-match, at Anfield.

Arsene: "Fuck me Bouldy, this is a massive must-win for us today, so using all my experience from 1000 games, I'm going to drop Alexis".
Bouldy: "Boss, that is fucking inspired, you are a tactical genius, Boss, Boss.....?"
Arsene: "Bouldy?"
Bouldy: "Boss, Boss, let's leave Mesut out as well!"
Arsene: "Bouldy, that is a brilliant suggestion, I'm going to leave that waste of space out as well. Bouldy....?."
Bouldy: "Boss?"
Arsene: "That Spanish fellow we signed, think he calls himself Perez, he looks sharp, scores goals, so he's out the team too"
Bouldy:: "Boss, you just can't buy that sort of logic! Boss, Boss......?"
Arsene: "Bouldy?"
Bouldy: "Boss, let's drop Kos, he's crap too!"
Arsene: "Bouldy, don't be a knob!"
Bouldy; "Boss, you f***ing started it you c**t!"

If as we suspect Wenger has such massive involvement within the club over many many aspects of the internal running beyond the actual team stuff he's supposed to be responsible for, Gazidis must be absolutely shitting himself if Wenger goes.

He'll actually have to do his job and employ people to fill those other gaps... i wonder if this is part of the reason they are so reluctant beyond the financial reasons to get rid of Wenger, they don't actually have a clue who does what it the normal running of a football club :rubchin:

The bottom line is, 'change' means money needs to be spent. Money on new employees, bonuses, payoffs, and of course a new manager wants his own backroom staff and new players. This is a shitload of cash, millions and millions, and Kranky is DESPERATE not to have to pay it. This, I believe is the main reason for him wanting Le Flange to stay, yes, getting CL money every season is of course very important to him (which will NOT happen this season)!! but if we don't get that money, we WILL sell players to make up for it, you'll see that, hence no intent on keeping Sanchez.

There is just a chance, a small one, that if Wonga goes then Kranky won't be far behind him, before he has to lay out a load of money. He's made a mint from Arsenal so let's hope he decides to take it!!

I didn't hear it, but he said it.

Yes that article is from 2016 but like I said Wenger was failing from before Kroenke arrived. Wenger had already said he'd take finishing second for 20yrs loooooong before that. His "project" and "socialist wage policy" was up and running for years already. He had sown the seeds already before Kroenke arrived and we are now reaping the shit from his continual failures. This is from 2011.
https://www.thesun.co.uk/archives/footb ... -2nd-rate/

"ARSENE WENGER says he would happily finish second in the league for two DECADES.
The Arsenal boss said: “As long as you are second in the league, I am ready to sign for the next 20 years."

IMO its Kroenke who has bought into and is happy with Wengers definition of success at Arsenal, not the other way around. (And he has bought into it with the shares he took in 2011)

I think what a lot of supporters forget is that its Wenger who is supposed to be the "football man", who is supposed to understand the difference between failure and success. Kroenke isnt. He is more interested in the balance sheet and thats exactly where I want him, far away from the football end of things. Let the manager and his staff deal with that.

I like that Arsenal are successful financially but thats not down to Wenger. Thats SKY (who've changed every club), sponsorship deals, marketing etc.
Kroenke has zero influence to what happens on the pitch and on the training ground and in the medical rooms. Again thats where Wenger is failing. The places where Kroenke or anyone else for that matter have no influence.

I understand that he gets stick for being an "absentee landlord" or policies affecting ticket prices and "Arsenalisation" of the ground and the sanitization of the whole "football experience". But if Wenger was doing his job, using ALL the resources that Kroenke had made available to us and actually competing then we wouldnt be so concerned about these issues.

Make no mistake, we WILL get top 4 again this season - I'm not saying that we are a good team or anything, but we are marginally less shit than the victims and manure  The victims are so inconsistent and really struggle against the "weaker teams", and how the mancs get on without ibrahimovich remains to be seen - I still struggle to believe that a defence including blind, jones, rojo and Valencia can finish in the top 4
