THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He's ready to take us to the next level by all accounts.....starting with the game today.
I wondered did anyone else see it Rodders so here it is best Q&A since Jaqui Oatley all it took was a couple of direct questions

Jake Humphrey rattles Arsene Wenger

Good to see that he can still squeeze in the old "34 years in football" bullshit

Nice one BB.

Jake Humphrey's asking better questions in 10 minutes than the fawning hacks have done in 10 years

When asked what he means about taking us to the "next level" -
"next level is the next level is the next level up, not the next level down"
Just pure gibberish, frightening to think this clown is running the whole club

Just watched it. Good questions. You could see JH was amused by the amount of squirming and evasion. He couldn't go much further without it getting nasty. Wengers inability to define failure or success and his continual reference to the world we live in were a joke. He is a master of the straw man argument. He just goes round in circles, a bit like his career.

Exactly. He comes out with some half arsed statement and just expects everyone to swallow it up and move along. Scratch the surface a little further though and he's got absolutely nothing more to offer. An absolute charlatan, stealing a living.

BREAKING NEWS! John Cross in 'It's time for Wenger to go' shocker!
He did justify it by saying it's for his own sanity and before he ruins his reputation!

Chief window-licker Tony on Untold (the home of proper statistical, rational and logical analysis) has spun out a whole article based on body language (the sort of thing they criticised the media for doing  ) to say that Sanchez is "flawed" and we should get rid. It's amazing how far they'll go to protect the Dear Leader's reputation.

Starting at 8:30 on the clip he quite clearly explains what the next level means to him.

Maybe Barcelona wouldn't drop Messi, but they certainly got rid of Sanchez quickly enough. Just a thought!

Delusional, Egotistical cun.t :banghead:

This guy asks the simplest of questions and wenger hardly lets him finish before he's getting all spikey and starts with the gibberish...C.U.N.T.

Seem to remember a long time ago that Arsene was considered one of the most intelligent, erudite Managers out there.... how times have changed
