THE WENGER THREAD
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Funny how stories have started to appear that we are appointing a director of football and that Primoric may be leaving.
Almost like they're saying we've made changes so next season will be different....

Yes you could look at it that way if your glass is half empty.NickF wrote:Funny how stories have started to appear that we are appointing a director of football and that Primoric may be leaving.

But if your glass is half full you could say that changes are being made in advance of a new manager/coach coming..........

Smoke and mirrors to ease the contract signing under the radar, as the kids say #ArsenalPRDeptarmchair wrote:Yes you could look at it that way if your glass is half empty.NickF wrote:Funny how stories have started to appear that we are appointing a director of football and that Primoric may be leaving.

The author of this article states categorically that Wenger was the one who identified Berkamp as an available signing target.

He also categorically states that:
Bergkamp remains eternally grateful to the man (Rioch) who “nursed, cajoled, and eased me into what was a different style of football, and made my family feel so welcome in England. He talked me through the different approach needed to be successful in England.” That's a direct quote from the man himself, long after the event. He has no reason or need to kowtow to a former manager with little standing in the game today.
However insignificant Rioch was in the grand scheme of things, I am prepared to give him a measure of credit for Bergkamp's start at Arsenal. For anyone to say he deserves zero credit is bloody ridiculous.

Leicester getting to the QF's would be more bad news for Wanka

Yes, I noticed that as well. Also, they have started ( a little earlier than usual) with all these bullshyte rumours that we are going to sign such & such in the summerNickF wrote:Funny how stories have started to appear that we are appointing a director of football and that Primoric may be leaving.

From todays BBC Gossip column:
Arsenal want to sign Everton's Senegal central midfielder Idrissa Gueye, 27, in the summer. (Sun)
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is looking to strengthen his defence with a summer move for 19-year-old Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney. (Daily Mirror)
The only alarming thing about that is they have written it as if cuntbag will still be present...He'd better not be.

Yep England are the closest to the but NZ are fearless and will dismantle the Lions this summer. Especially if Gatland picks half of the Welsh backline.xisstential wrote:I love rugby and follow it closely, and I have not read anywhere that the AB's fear England. Allegri taking Juventus through with ease as well.. in other news we are playing Bayern in pre-season lol, I'm sure this was arranged before our ritual humiliation by them but you've got to laugh at our commercial team or whoever set this up, I think they are trying to rival Wanger for incompetence.OneBardGooner wrote:Anything to make the cuntbag squirm and have even more sleepless nights.rodders999 wrote:Leicester getting to the QF's would be more bad news for Wanka

Complete meltdown from Nasri.
Fucking idiot so easily provoked by that chav and such a stupid thing to do having already drawn attention to himself by squaring up to Vardy.
More cheating from Vardy though after already having taken three or four dives.

Cracking game though. This is what 2 leg knockout ties should be about. Drama, controversy, missed opportunities. Going right to the wire and still on a knife edge.
None of this dead 2nd leg shite we get every season.
Leicester minutes away from bettering Wengers CL record of the last 7 seasons in 1 attempt.
