People that Boo can...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I never boo although I understand people do it out of frustration.

At the end of the day these guys do play for our team (whether they deserve to or not) and we should support our players (although sometimes its very hard mentioning - no names numbers 26 and 27...... :banghead: )

It's getting to a real tricky part of the season where they need us to support them and we need them to perform the way we want them to and believe they should be doing. Imo the booing stems from the hype and belief that we just didn't fancy it at Stoke. Whenever fans think this then booing is natural to some people. If the players are trying and did fancy it but it just didn't happen, then they can't understand why people boo. It's 3 games without a win and again to some boo-ers this is justification to get on the players' backs and also the Manager's for not buying experience.
If we get slaughtered on the pitch by ManUre then I fear a whole crescendo of boos and this is just gonna add to the problems.
I remember a cup replay at Luton in the mid 80s when we were bad, REALLY bad, stuffed 3-0 and the players clapped us and we were sticking the Vs up at them, telling them to fuck off etc but we didn't boo them!!!!

Who the fcuk are you lot and why the hell are you coming to matches, stay the fcuk at home and let someone else who would appreciate where they are to attend.

So we've had a bad couple of games, but last night was not one of them. Yes we failed to capitalise on some opportunities, we kept the ball for a year and failed to take a shot, so what. When the final whistle went i was as frutrated as the rest of the block was in , but in no way would i boo my team.

Watching that game, there was no way we were going to lose,, we played a lot better defensively djouru(sp?) played well, toure had a good game. We were strong, to boo a team like that is depressing, how do you think the team feel after hearing that. AG is their home, and ours all you do is succeed in making our team feel uncomfortable in their own home.

So i say again , if you're gonna boo, fcuk off and watch the game at home.

bet you didn't say anything to any of the boo-ers at the game
