I think Liverpool are actually a pretty poor team in all. Its not how you start its how you finish (as we found out last year), and I think the players will be seeking revenge after last year as well. 3-0 for me

We should win but they beat Chelski and manure this season as well, also they look tougher and that could be the deciding factor especially if Denilson plays in the center aginst gerrard, alonso and mascherano he will be bullied. I would love to see Diaby and Cesc play together in the CM and put Wilshire on LM and Denilson on RM with Ade and RVP up front. The reason for Wilshire is that he can beat people and will stay on the left if told to where as Denilson comes in too much, this will give us a great outlet which we did not have aginst Boro and that cost us.

cannot remember the last time i ever felt like this but a defeat wouldn't go amiss to be honest

more papering over the cracks and more i believe in this squad if we win

as Roberto Duran said when he realised he was hopelessly outclassed:

'NO MAS'

2-1 to us. Adebayor with a brace.

For a while now I have been worrying about Keane pulling out a good performance against us. He always was a threat when he played for the scum.

If Rafa has any sense he will play him. I can see him getting a consolation goal coming off the bench, late in the game, and us squirming for the last 10 minutes, what our boys give the ball way and trying unsucsessfully to score a third.

Not having any wingers available is gonna be a big miss cos their full-backs are shite. How the f*ck is Dossena Italy’s left-back??? If Nasri’s still out & Kuyt puts in his usual shift on the right Clichy might struggle to get forward freely as much and we’re gonna have about as much down our left side as a stroke victim!

Keane could be a problem if Benitez plays him in his actual position but that would mean them playing 2 up front which would maybe suit us better as they’d have one less in midfield than usual, which would even up (slightly) what’s already an unfair contest in their favour. Still wouldn’t fancy Gerrard & Mascherano vs. Cesc & [insert shite midfielder here] though.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Wenger went 4-5-1. Realistically I can see it being a draw but f*ck it I’ll for 2-1 Arsenal.

So, one first teamer, one bench warmer, one British protege who'll be ready to play for the first team within 3 seasons, and four punts?

I think we will win this.

Liverpool are just a lucky cup team.

They have been over-achieving this season. And we have been doing the opposite thing.

My prediction is that they will be battling with Villa for fourth place toward the end of the season.

Ramsey - "Protege"
Nasri - "first teamer."
Silvestre - "Bench Warmer"

The four "punts"

Coquelin - looks the business for his age. Worth the punt on evidence so far.
Botelho - doing good things at Salamanca, gets forward well.
Bischoff - very much so! But initial signs are reasonable.
Ozyakup - who knows?

I can see Wenger basically playing 4-5-1 with Adebayor up top, Diaby just behind and RVP out on the left. I actually wouldn't have a massive problem with this if Walcott had been avaliable to play down the right but chances are Eboue will get that job and we'll not have enough advanced players for most the match.

If we need a goal he'll then withdraw RVP and put Bentdner on, because it has worked so well this season!

Looks like Nasri should play although they "have a problem with Bendtner"...... :barscarf:
