turns out the 70m wasnt spending moeny but the surplus we had at the end of the season.
theres a big difference between profit and the money avialable for the transfer budget. dont believe everythign the board say!

I know that doesn't sound like much but its a lesser arguement to say, if we swap managers and players all the time and spend loads of money we will win loads of trophies.

Sometimes you have got to voice your displeasure so those in charge can realise what is going down ain't as great as they might think. This will at least cause them to consider perhaps they need to get back on track.

I think chickens have come home to roost this season and the board/AW were lulled into a false sense of security by the squad punching above it's bweight last year. I completely agree with you, sometimes you have to voice your displeasure but not always.
We can be seen as passionate fans that are upset thats great for the board.
If it happens all the time, we are fickle to the board and we get ignored.
