As Rebel said it's a very weak point. Some of the best supported teams in this league are the worst.

Portsmouth, West Ham and Newcastle have some of the best support during matches. But all are mid-table fodder and this season? Possibly all three will be fighting relegation, But with some fantastic vocal support.

I know where I'd rather be, and if that means cracking some heads so be it.

Wenger knows what he is doing. This is like when England lost to northern ireland and wanted Sven out, then got McLaren.

Maybe you don't reliese how luck we are right now to have him.
Hahahahahaha!

Wnger can do no wrong hey!

I love those kind of comparissons!

How funny!

This is the worst Arsenal side in 12 years! You find me a comparrison that shiws me wrong!

So thats the worst Arsenal side since Wenger took over then? Only for them to win the double two years later.

You have a view and are allowed it like everyone else but are you really one of those people that smiles when Arsenal lose only to prove your point.

get behind the team, why else support them?

Its not about the trohpies, its not about the good times, it about supporting your club. try doing it some time.
well said
Thanks

:banghead: So the way to give the players a chance and show possible targets we will give them time to adjust to the premiership is too boo them for 90 mins?

its the fucking board we should be venting our anger against, not wenger

how the fuck can man u buy players, be in debt and yet win trophies?

if thats what it takes then so be it, lets go in some debt and win some trophies! get DECENT players in!!
The board have offered us money but Wenger doesn't want it. I know why as well. If we get into more debt (cause I think we still need to pay for the stadium cause we took out a massive loan) and don't win anything I have two words for you.

Leeds United.

with all due respect mate, thats a load of bollocks, i remember fizman the *word censored* saying we had 70m to spend on transfers, and someone over on the official boards got a hold of our accounts.

turns out the 70m wasnt spending moeny but the surplus we had at the end of the season.

theres a big difference between profit and the money avialable for the transfer budget. dont believe everythign the board say!

Well at least you have a sense of homour. I completely get where you are coming from but we must try to be positive.

I know that doesn't sound like much but its a lesser arguement to say, if we swap managers and players all the time and spend loads of money we will win loads of trophies.

What happened to Real Madrid when del bosque left?

Sometimes its best not to rock the boat.

Wenger will proberly leave in 2011 anyway when his contract expires.

Until then, we need to back the team or the players might start to think , fuck them they are never happy and we cant have that happening at our club.

When you are being served up sub standard food at Miccy D'd or the King what do you do? Applaud the student on minimum wage for a job nearly well done? Or send it back with clear instructions to "make me a fucking proper burger!"

Sometimes you have got to voice your displeasure so those in charge can realise what is going down ain't as great as they might think. This will at least cause them to consider perhaps they need to get back on track.

Cockerill's chin wrote:I share the frustration Gus but in my opinion the man deserves one more summer. If things aren't better by February 2010, then I'd want him to go. One year. Time to learn from the mistakes of this season. I know the comeback - he's had plenty of time and we all saw this coming why didn't he? But..

I think chickens have come home to roost this season and the board/AW were lulled into a false sense of security by the squad punching above it's bweight last year. I'm sure they assumed with the youngsters having that experience we'd improve again this year. The arrogance of that assumption gets to me. The way the club believed they'd never have to invest and that top four would always be a given.

Now this season has spelt out a lesson that even AW's stubborness cannot ignore - I'd give him one year to show us he's still the great manager we know he is.
Give him one year to carry on being stubborn to not sign any qualitly experienced players no thanks. What has he been doing for the last year? oh yeah he sold Diarra(now worth 20m)Flamini the heart and soul of last season. This team is NOT good enough yet we still have Wenger saying we can win the league? Will no one at the club tell Wenger he is wrong?

I completely agree with you, sometimes you have to voice your displeasure but not always.

We can be seen as passionate fans that are upset thats great for the board.

If it happens all the time, we are fickle to the board and we get ignored.

ok, perhaps i was a bit rash in calling for us to buy some players even if it meant going in debt, but im sick and tired of the bollocks that the board are saying, its not true! wenger never had 70m to spend on players.

seriously, cant people see hes being used as a scapegoat? the guys laying himself down for arsenal. its the fucking board and their lies we should be pissed off about.

Fair play too you for being good about all this.

Now it could just be me but I remember Wenger saying (and you'll hate this) we mite have to sell a key player every season for the next 11 seasons because the debt was so high from the stadium.

anyone know about that?

I'm sure after 12 years of nothing but support, after seeing the shite being served up this year, we could never be accused of being fickle.
