But tonight I've gone back on myslef.

Arctic Monkeys now seem the best I've heard. WPSIATWIN of course. Why is it modern bands can't make better than one really good album?
I thought both Arctic Monkeys albums have been excellent unlike the Killers

Chippy junior used to love the Killers but they were his education on "difficult" second albums. :(

The second Arctic Monkeys album was fucking awful. You cannot comment on music if you believe it was a good album.

So is Springsteen still floating around the charts? Cos I've been listening to Bruce all night.
digger wrote:Utter fucking studenty bollocks shite.

The fact that the original poster used Coldplay as a yardstick for a "good band" proves he's a c**t and should be banned indefinitely.
I did not use Coldplay as a yardstick for a good band, read my post again.

Clearly the yardstick for a good band has to be The Saturdays.

No it wasn't.

By second album standards Sam's Town is/was way better than Favourite Worst Nightmare.

Arctic Monkeys first album was of such a high standard short of releasing Definitely Maybe as their secind album they would never live up to the first.

Of course you can. I was talking to the dude who I quoted. 8)
