Highly-rated Spanish youngster Koke has claimed Arsenal are monitoring his progress.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for 17-year-old, who currently plies his trade for Atletico Madrid B, although the North London club have yet to comment on the speculation.
Defensive midfielder Koke is considered to be one of Spain's brightest prospects and is the captain of the Under 17 side.
He said: "I am calm. My sole focus is to improve as a player each day.
"Arsenal have watched some of my matches, but I have not spoken with anybody."
Koke is tied to a youth contract at Atletico and will be able to sign senior terms in the summer

If he does sign, finding a song for him shouldn't prove much problem:Mikegooner87i wrote:http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, ... 35,00.html

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is believed to be toying with the idea of bringing Ghana captain Stephen Appiah to the Emirates Stadium.
The former Parma and Juventus midfielder has been without a club since leaving Turkish giants Fenerbahce following a long-standing knee injury, and had been training with the Gunners's London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
However, Arsenal may now offer the Black Stars's skipper a short-term deal with Wenger's side struggling in midfield with injuries to Abou Diaby and, captain, Cesc Fabregas.
The 28-year-old has recently been holding talks with Russian champions Rubin Kazan, who will compete in the Champions League next season.
"It is important that I get back to playing actively before the start of the World Cup qualifiers so I need regular action," he said. "There are other clubs too who are keen and that goes with my desire to play competitively.
"The prospect of playing in the Champions League next season is very attractive to any player so I had to listen to Kazan. The fact that Kazan won the league ahead of two big clubs Lokomotiv and Dynamo shows that they will take Europe by storm and I am excited."

Captain Fabregas quoting the News of the World:
ARSENE WENGER’S long chase for Kolo Toure’s brother Yaya is set to reach a happy conclusion for Arsenal.
Barcelona's defensive midfield ace, 25, is heading for The Emirates in the summer. The fee for the Ivory Coast player is thought to have been agreed at around £12million.
His arrival will solve a long-standing problem for Gunners boss Wenger as well as bringing great delight to the two brothers.
Yaya, who had a trial with Arsenal at the start of the 2005 season, has admitted in the past: “It would be great to play in the Premier League and to team up with my brother would be just fantastic.â€

http://www.setanta.com/uk/Articles/Foot ... nid-40845/Arsenal are believed to be tracking Portuguese starlet Micael Ruben, as opposed to his Nacional team-mate Nene.
Reports in the English press have suggested The Gunners have been keeping tabs on goalscoring sensation Nene, having sent scouts out to Portugal of late.
Nene is one of the brightest prospects in the Portuguese league, but he does not qualify for EU citizenship and it is highly unlikely the Brazilian would be granted a work permit to play in England.
As such, it is believed that Ruben is the object of Arsenal’s attention. Gunners scouts were in attendance as Nacional beat Vitoria Guimaraes on Friday, a game in which Nene scored twice and Ruben once.
Ruben, 22, is yet to represent Portugal at full international level but respected judges expect that to change in the near future.
Arsene Wenger is famed for plucking youngsters from relative obscurity and taking their careers forward and there are suggestions Ruben could be the next on the list.

NUTTYGOONERPAUL SAYS:
Bosman keeper considers summer switch to Arsenal
Le Mans keeper Yohann Pele seems to think he'll be at Arsenal or Bordeaux next season.
Pele told Canal+: “[Bordeaux boss, Laurent] Blanc has been a player; as a consequence he knows what the game is about.
“Wenger has been in the footballing sphere for a while and I’m yet to make up my mind.
“Playing for Bordeaux would mean staying in the French league, but as far as I’m concerned I’d rather move to another European league.
“Anyway, I’m not ruling out any option.

Barcelona are ready to launch a £20m bid for Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor in the summer and the Spanish giants are also plotting a move for Gunners midfielder Cesc Fabregas. (Daily Star)
If Adebayor does leave then Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will look to replace him with Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, 25, as the Dutchman has failed to settle in Spain since his £17m move from Ajax in January. (Daily Mirror)
Wenger is also close to signing 18-year-old Paris St Germain defender Mamadou Sakho, who captained the French side when he was just 17. (The Sun)
