Arsenal Fan from India

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I've like to share an interesting info with you all. I've a Twin brother and he is a manure fan. He supports manu but not like me as I keep Arsenal close to my heart. intially we had some differences when we talk about our respective clubs we support. but now we never have fights regarding arsenal and manu rivalry. we just don't speak about this as we both know that will lead to an fight.

when there is a match between arsenal vs manu...by the end of the match whatever be the result we won't speak for few hours just to bring down the effects of the result of the game. normalcy will be back after few hours....

Well hello!

Don't think I've said that to you yet.

Anyway, you should try and convince your twin...

But, if anything happens to him, like, he say, leaves Man U for say...Spurs, then I'm turning you over to the cops.

That was a stupid joke wasn't it? I was going to say if anything 'unfortunate happens to your twin' but then if something did happen I'd be blamed.

Welcome...

I'll sit down and shut up now.

if he is ready to switch then i will be the first one to tell him to support the Gunners. But sure he won't join the ugly spurs....thats for sure.. :)

Thanks. :)

That sounds like a very sensible way of dealing with things, young man. 8)

We all love football and are extremely passionate about our clubs, but it should never lead to fighting - unless of course he was a Spurs fan - then you would be well within your rights to smash his ugly face in!!

Although, if he is an identical twin, that would be 'smash his nice face in'! (I'm only joking Rafales!!)

About the private message: i dident think u are ignoring me but i felt bad vhy u dident mentioned TB, cause we really apreciate his deeds here.
How fan of Arsenal i am, u could see in an picture i sedn to gallery but i dont know why is not posted. I reaaly never go inside a fire without an Arsenal shirt on.
About my place: I'm not from Albania, i'm from Kosovo is an ex province of Yugosllavia which is now under protection of NATO, leaded by US Army. And we hope we are getting the independence soon this year cause I might have th chance to use my guns if this muthafuckaz attack my people once again, but probably NATO wont let them in never ever. So i dont have to use my stuff.

Hello Ben-gooner14 you can call me Rafa. That sounds nice to me as well. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hello KAQAK I wish all the best for the people of Kosovo to get their Independence in a peaceful way.

I was brought up and used to live around the corner from Highbury (Isledon Road) as a kid, but then my family moved to Homerton, near Hackney Marshes.

You used to be able to see Highbury Stadium and hear the crowd cheering from our back window. One of my first memories as a small child was hearing a loud roar coming from the ground (those were the days, eh lads? ), seeing the flood-lights shining brightly, and saying to myself: I want to go there!!

I'm fortunate that where I now live is still relatively close to Arsenal and it only takes me about 20/25 minutes by car to get to the ground.

Very jealous of you ECD.

Used to say when I was younger that i'd buy a house right outside Highbury but not got anywhere near, never even lived in London!

Being born in Romford is as near as i've got!

Maybe we should all have had a whip round and brought one of the new Highbury apartments. A posters penthouse if you wish, everyone gets to stay there at different times, give the irish crew a place to kip when they visit and Kaqak and Rafa of course!

Great idea, Chopper!! 8)

Now all we need is the best part of £300,000 and all will be dandy!! What is it, £300k divided by about 10 regular posters. That works out at roughly £30,000 each. Should be a breeze!! Loose change in my house-hold.

However, I bags first use of the apartment!!

By the way, my family moved from Finsbury Park when I was 8 years old, so apart from those initial memories and formenting my allegience to Arsenal, I didn't really get any additional benefits from living that close to the ground. Wish I lived there now though.
