Great game and Jones made a great comeback from last week.

But Ronan, Ronan....what were you thinking with a kick like that and then Lions didn't deserve to lose but S.Africa came back into the game well.

Some briilant Lions performances all over.

Injuries have really played a big part on this Tour. Some of the first choice have already gone home with injuries and today the Lions suffered due to key personnel having to go off when the team were in a winning position.

Despite that, what I want to know is this: with only 30 seconds of the game left and the score tied 25 - 25, why didn't O'Gara kick the ball into touch deep in S.A. territory, rather than try an 'up and under' which resulted in him giving the decisive penalty away?

I'm gutted. Was hoping it was all going to be set up for a decider next Saturday. That was never a penalty in the dying seconds. O Gara did not go to take the man out in the air. Fucking French fuck referee!!! Bastard.

And I'm sure the players foot was in touch for that South African try. Just goes to show the football world that video evidence isn't the answer. They have it in rugby and still manage to make a complete fuck up of the decisions!!

No blame for ROG. He was trying to win the game even with seconds to go, the Munster and Irish way.

rebel's right , O'Gara even making that kick was a mistake considering what stage the game was. They drew level with Jones' kick and then it was inevitable with good field position that SA would then make a drop goal attempt, which failed and that should have been that from both sides.

Shaw amongst others I thought was brillant, as was Kearney. Shame that they lost so many players injured. I think that may be the result of the long hard slog that these players now go through in the northern hemisphere seasons. SA I guess didn't overplay their players prior to the tests because they have the tri-nations immediately after this series.

Probably one of the best rugby tests I have seen.

Disappointing end to the Lions' chances.

Deserved more from this tour in my opinion...as for South Africa, still think the Wallabies will beat them in the Tri Nations this year. Think the Boks will finish ahead of the All Blacks though, but would love to see the Maori boys give them the good beating to a pulp that they deserve.

I just think that penalties are given too easilly when you "challenge" someone in the air. The rule was brought in to penalise dangerous play where players were being taken out while in the air not to punish someone for jumping to try win the ball.

Yeah thats right, the penalty that won the game should never have been.

But ram you got to question why o gara didnt kick for touch when he got the ball 1st instead of launching it into the air.Ok they would have got a lineout but it would have been away from the danger area.Then it was just a case of closing the game out because there was only seconds left.

SA coach Peter de Villiers on the eye gauge. Fucking hell the South Africans have gone way down in my estimation with their behaviour. I cheered them on in the last World Cup but home they get tonked in the upcoming Tri Nations.

jesus, i thought that was YOU talking for a second! not sure what footage de villiers has seen though, im not sure who i dislike more in world rugby now, SA or australia (no disrespect to RaM)
