Exactly what I think - for £5m it was deffo worth a punt irrespective if he does well (or not) and if hes not better than Diaby, Song, or Denilson he would have given us a different oprion.

Either the club is absolutely skint or we have someone better lined up

Nah if you were a rose tinter you would say we were skint that way you cover AW's arse if he doesn't buy anyone, or if he buys someone cheap.

Now your talking then you can gradually start unloading the usual excuses as the season progresses bad pitches, injuries, fixture congestion, bad refs and rotate them through the season a different one every week, then next May start with the were skint spiel again.... with a bit of the future looks bright spiel, then you'll be a fully fledged tinter

With how Nasri and Rosicky were playing today his job was made that little bit easy but, he was immense.

You're wrong Magic. Our pal safctm is a big fan of Cana and had been waxing lyrical about him long before yesterday's match.

Well there's little doubt he had a major influence on the result yesterday. Still £5m would have blown a hole in our summer transfer profit i.e. we would still have only been c. £20m up.....and that just wouldn't sit nicely into our sustainable business model
