Box office Fail

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hope that doesn't mean we are stuck with Ticketmaster for life!

The system is seriously flawed. There have been major problems ever since we moved to the Grove.

Red Members have been impacted the worst, when the usual sudden influx overloads the creaky, crappy system.

Ticketmaster have had years to make improvements. I don't think they are in the least bit bothered. They will sell all the tickets for most matches, anyway. You can avoid the ticket hub, if you apply by phone. Which means even MORE profit for them.

I had the same issue with the Spurs game, tickets in the basket, visa securecode bs then it put me back in the queue again, then no tickets available, was not happy.

whats even more annoying, i work for the bank i was trying to make payment from, and i could see by the credit card system that the card had pre-auth'd a £1 payment which all transactions do to see if funds are available. So it was not a problem with the card issuer, the card itself, it was Arsenals link with the visa secure code system.

As I said earlier in the thread, that happened to me when booking the Chelsea match.

I had good, lower tier tickets and the securecode screen chucked me back out to the home page, and I lost my order  I then had to log back in and try again... after 3 attempts, and being chucked out every time, I ended up with decent upper tier tickets, but of course that meant paying £20+ MORE on each ticket!

Get ready for more problems on Thursday, I just noticed that both the Chelsea and Sunderland games (if there are any tickets left) go on sale to Red members at 10am that morning.
