As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I have read nothing about him being injured, he isnt getting a look in for the league games so he surely has to play him tonight
By the way can anybody tell me how gilbert is still at the club ? I aint knocking the guy but I would suggest wenger dont rate him, he has been fcuked out on loan a shit load of times and has never really got near the first team so why is he still here ?
My mate here in the office is a Sothend fan (where Gilbert spent some time on loan) apparently he was a real bad egg there, disruptions, moaning, the lot.
I think he probably wouldnt be getting a look in if Gavin Hoyte wasnt out on loan, probbaly being used as a last chance / shop window secnario - he clearly has some talent but seems to have wasted it a bit, Id stick Kyle Bartley in there myself - looked great in the youth cup and be good to see how he steps up.
cant believe vela isnt in the squad, especially after doin an online interview yesterday saying how great the carling cup is, if hes not injured what the f is goin on? we wont need him vs tottenham if eddie and bendy are fit he wont get a look in.
tonight was his chance to show what he can do if started... but he is myseteriously left out?
Certainly am, I'm going with many people's favorite poster...Swale! I really enjoy the Carling Cup, am always a lot more relaxed than for league games.
Vela must be injured...or being saved for Sat? Presumably if Bendtner and Eduardo are just getting match fit, they are keeping Vela in cotton wool so as not to worsen the striker situation?!
BENITEZ TARGETS WEMBLEY
Rafa Benitez has spoken of his desire to become the first Liverpool manager to win silverware at the new Wembley stadium as the Reds prepare to resume their Carling Cup campaign tonight.
